⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My service with Bijou was absolutely outstanding from start to finish! From the moment I sat in her chair, I could tell she was extremely professional, efficient, and truly passionate about what she does. She was very attentive, listened carefully to what I wanted, and made sure every step of the service was done with precision and care. I have to especially brag on how efficient she is she works with confidence and purpose while still making you feel relaxed and pampered. Nothing felt rushed, yet everything flowed smoothly, which really shows her level of skill and experience. And let me talk about the shampoo,AMAZING is an understatement! It was so thorough, relaxing, and refreshing. The technique, the pressure, and the overall experience felt like a luxury spa moment. My hair felt incredibly clean, soft, and rejuvenated afterward. Honestly, it was one of the best shampoo experiences I’ve ever had. Bijou’s energy, professionalism, and attention to detail truly set her apart. She made me feel valued as a client, and the results spoke for themselves. If you’re looking for someone who delivers top tier service, efficiency, and an overall amazing experience, Bijou is the one. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional service!
Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing first experience and will also be my last. The styling did not reflect what was discussed and felt uneven and unfinished. I left feeling frustrated rather than confident, which was disappointing given Drybar’s reputation. I reached out to the owner, Annie, and also called the storefront multiple times to address my concerns, but never received a response. While mistakes can happen, the lack of follow-up or accountability made the experience even more disappointing. Waste of $70 solely off distasteful hair and customer service.
I had the best experience with Britney. She was so friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable from start to finish. My wash didn’t feel rushed at all and was incredibly relaxing and zen, which I really appreciated. I left feeling beautiful, confident, and so happy with my hair. Overall, such a great visit. I means a lot when a stylist makes the entire experience feel thoughtful and calming, and Britney did exactly that. I’ll definitely be back.
I’ve been to Drybar many times and never had a bad experience — some visits have been better than others, but never bad. This was my first time at the River Oaks location, though, and unfortunately it was very disappointing. My appointment was at 7:15, but I wasn’t brought back until around 7:35. I understand that people can run behind, and that doesn’t usually bother me, but the front desk didn’t say a word or offer an apology. Both I and another guest were left waiting, feeling forgotten, which set the tone for the rest of the visit. The stylist was kind and friendly, so I don’t believe she did it intentionally, but she completely ruined my hair. When I got home and ran my fingers through it, it felt awful — dry, crusty, burnt, and frayed. My bangs in particular were badly damaged, clearly from a flat iron that must have been way too hot. I’ve always loved Drybar, but this experience was extremely disappointing, especially for a brand I’ve trusted for years. I hope management addresses this location’s service and quality control so no one else has to leave feeling this way. ***update, manager did reach out to me and try to correct the issue the best they could, they set up a no charge appointment for a treatment and style to try to help the damage repair, I was set up with Prayer which is an excellent stylist. My hair is in better condition but will still need multiple treatments to be back to normal but I appreciate them trying to make the situation right and not ignoring the problem
I love coming to the Dry Bar River Oaks. Everyone is friendly, pleasant and competent. I have been a regular once a week “Bar Fly” for almost 2 years. My stylist Nikki always makes me feel beautiful when I leave. Nikki and my other fav stylists (Donnell and David) are wonderful also. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The Dry Bar is open 12 hours daily to accommodate all schedules. Best place ever!
