Booked a party for my 40th may 4th 2025. The boat didn’t show up. All week we had been calling him, sent various emails regarding the booking and heard nothing back. Absolute disgraceful. Apparently this has happened on numerous occasions of late to others so DO NOT BOOK! Communication was horrendous from the start. Such an awful way to behave when everyone is all ready to go. Luckily we sorted a room last minute on the night and the party went on in Barca. Terrible experience and so disappointing!!! Heard nothing back, no excuses, no apology, absolutely nothing!
All in all we had a good time on the boat. It was my daughter’s 18th and she had a blast. If it had have been my own party I’m not sure I would have been quite so happy. The bar was efficiently run but only had 1 bottle of wine, which was bought by a guest. No other wines on board which was really disappointing as most of the guests drink some sort of wine. The only lager available was cans of red stripe which were being sold at £6 a can. There were bottles of Prosecco at £31 and spirits. Sound system was good. Toilets were questionable but what do you expect on a boat. On the whole it was a good night because my daughter really enjoyed it, we had a laugh and the staff on board were great especially the lady running the bar. Could have been much better if the bar was fully stocked and prices weren’t so inflated.
Myself and 17 of my friends and family done this for my hen do. What a great laugh we had. The staff were great banter and the 3 hours went by in a flash! Played all the music we liked. Would highly recommend to anyone in Manchester for a special occasion!
I hired dry barge for a recent birthday party, the staff were so friendly and the music was amazing! Great cocktails and wine. We had a amazing time seeing a new side of Manchester, really recommend this awesome experience for a party for all ages!
I booked a birthday party for my friend here. Highly recommend the barge! Matt was a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating to our requests. Everyone had a great time. No other venue like it in Manchester! Will for sure be booking again in the future.
