I have never been more grateful after dealing with an auto shop. I have taken my Chevy Traverse to countless mechanics/Chevy dealerships and they could never tell me what was wrong. They were able to clearly explain the problem and lay out all our options. They didn’t even charge us for the diagnostic. Highly recommend!
I had 2 different places tell me my transmission was done, and I had to take it to the dealer for a new one. Dan actually listened to my problem, was knowledgeable about my particular car and typical issues. I had it towed to Eagle, and they had it finished and on the road in half a day for a very reasonable price, saving me thousands. Dan, Mike, and their expert techs are the best, and I would not trust my car with anybody else. Thank you, Eagle Transmissions! You have a friend for life in me!
Great transmission shop, not so great lot and policies. The Good: Took my truck here with a slipping transmission installed by another shop that was under warranty. They worked with the other shop who provided a rebuilt transmission that Eagle installed for me. Mike was great to work with and helped every step of the way, from diagnosis to install and the unique asks along the way. The trans is holding strong and they did good work installing it, including working with my custom exhaust that gave them some trouble on disassembly. They worked to remedy a problem the previous shop caused (missing dowel pin that aligns the transmission to engine) and even showed me the inside of the failed transmission full of metal debris. They're knowledgeable and from my experience do quality work. The Bad: I left with a busted brake light when I picked the truck up. They parked it along the end of the building on a very tight corner and they believe a tow truck clipped my truck when going around the corner. They accepted responsibility on the spot and said they'd make it right, but when I provided them with the details of the taillights I had on my truck they reneged and offered me $49, the price of a non-oem, non-matching part from LKQ. They stated that damage on the lot was not their responsibility and I assumed the same risk I would parking it at the grocery store. I would think the shop would have lot insurance for this, or at least pay the $149 that the lights cost to replace since they parked it in a bad location and I brought it to them with in-tact brake lights. Probably won't use them again because of this, but they did do good work on the transmission.
If you are looking for a transmission shop look no further. Eagle transmission will take great care of you and your vehicle. They even do differential work as well like if you wanted to throw an e locker and limited slip on your vehicle. I brought both of my vehicle here and Michael has taken great care of me and my vehicles. Michael is very knowledgeable and always provides great customer service! This shop is highly recommended!!
