Here's the deal, the first two times they came and did their service, it was great. Wonderful guys. The third time, that guy actually backed up into my car. We laughed about. Wasn't dramatic, just a small bump and left like two small white scuffs on my car. Its a beater car. A good giggle but this particular service was ~eh~. We felt like he did his job but it wasn't as thorough as the first two guys. Whatever. My husband and I are pretty relaxed about a lot of things so we brushed it off. We still recommend family and friends to Eco Shield. BUT!!!! AND A HUGE BIG BUT!!!! Today was just horrible. I wanted to cancel my appointment for this coming Sat cuz windshields are supposed to be in the negative double digits. Then says stuff about my account being flagged for cancelation, then selling me about lower price, then a lot of "i understand" from not one BUT three people. I was so frustrated I ending up using profanity! Three people selling instead of helping. Just insanely horrible customer service. Two phone calls and three people full of non sense and 'i understand' for nothing. That's why i canceled. Im sad but now im "on record" for cancelation. I'll just with someone else coming this spring.
Glenn, was so helpful when on phone discussing our need for another appointment to deal with our pesky ants. She was easy to talk to, efficient and did a great job. Appointment set up for tomorrow that technician probably already knew. Great job.
I was a customer for almost two years when I found mouse droppings in my house. I mistakenly assumed they had been inspecting and preventing this from happening. I called and they sent someone out. Ernesto arrived and said he was just there for an inspection. He did a quick 20 minute inspection, said I had 13 "entry points" and needed a new seal on the garage door. He wanted 1800 dollars for this. I was so freaked out about having mice that I agreed. A week later, a technician came. He didnt have the right size liner for the garage door, had no bait or traps, didnt have the correct information or pictures from the inspector to fill the entry points. He also thought my contract was wrong and I was being overcharged. The service manager, Dylan, came over for a new inspection. It was a much more thorough inspection, but he said I needed new insulation in the basement. He said the insulation and fixing the entry points would be 2200 dollars. I agreed and we made an appointment for a week later. We spent the week clearing out the basement and pulling furniture away from the walls. I called today to confirm and was told I had no appointment. Three weeks, four missed days of work, three people have been to my house and zero resolution. Not even a mouse trap set. I am sick to my stomach over how much money I have given this company. I think they are a total scam. Beware.
Stacy was great!! He got in places that I didn’t even think about. Also, he cleaned out the webs. I felt he did a very thorough job!! Another great thing about this company, I will get Stacy again. He’s our technician. Our other company sent a different person every time which was frustrating. I had to explain each time what needed to be done.
Buyer beware! The sales rep showed up at my door, he was courteous. I had concerns about their product as I have outside animals and health concerns, so I had them send me the product information. He sold me on the year contract. Ive had 2 treatments done. The tech sweeps off all the spider webs on the outside of the house during the treatment so it looked nice, then a week later I had more spiders and webs than prior. Calling customer service basically gets you no where. They say they will call you back, but no call back. You will get transferred multiple times and have to explain the situation over and over, they just wear you down. Ive asked that a rep come to the house to assess the situation, Ive been told that's not an option. All they will do is offer a "re-treatment", using a stronger treatment. I voiced concerns again about now a different chemical and its safety. Ive asked for my contract to be cancelled due to the ineffectiveness of their product. They will do it for a cancellation fee! Ive already paid $300 for a service that didn't work and now they want to charge me $250 to cancel. So now they are offering a lower price if I agree to remain in the contract. No matter what your stuck paying more money for something that is ineffective! The picture are after the second treatment.
