I had a bit of work I wanted sorted quickly. Ryan and his guys came round and had a look inside and outside with the drone. They were quoted me quickly and were able to start within the week. One underway I got regular photo updates of the estimated work and details of other work that would need attention and the pictures made it clear what needed done. The work was carried out quickly I got loads of updates. However within 4 months I discovered the work of a shockingly poor quality. I tried to contact to offer a chance to make good but all attempts were avoided. I had to contact trading standards and try legal action. Would NOT use again.
Fantastic experience using Edinburgh Roofing Company. We had a leak on the Monday morning during a heavy downpour, they came out the same day to assess the issue and provide a temporary cover before coming back the next morning to fix the issue. Absolutely brilliant and so easy to work with. Would highly recommend to anyone
Extremely quick, affordable and professional service. The guys, Alex and Mark were both punctual and very friendly and quickly identified and sorted our problem. They did a fantastic job and we were delighted with the results. We can’t praise them enough. Many thanks.
Jamie and Ryan were available, attentive, great communicators. Their blokes on site all round decent blokes with a thorough and diligent approach to the repair work we required. This was a bitty , highly detailed little project in challenging circumstances but it came in on spec, estimate and time. Happy. Ed R Co offered us a detailed estimate not bogged down in fuzzy roofing terminology- they gave us a much higher spec and great value for or money. Would recommend.
Horrific experience with the Edinburgh Roofing Company. I made a request using The Edinburgh Roofing Company website. Shortly after, I received a call from a member of staff who said that he would be able to squeeze me in the next day. He arrived in branded uniform and gave me a quote for the work. I decided to go ahead as it was a reasonable cost and the company had good reviews. The work was completed and when I discussed the issue, it was clear that only half of the slates were replaced. He came back again and finished the work. A few days later, I received a whats app message asking for payment, I asked for the invoice which was apparently being prepared. I received the invoice and paid it promptly as this employee stated that he would remove the slates for another tradesman to sort if I wasn’t happy with work. Fast forward 6 months, where a leak occurred in the same spot that I paid for works to be completed. I contacted the Edinburgh Roofing Company to be told they have no record of my work. I was then told that this employee was not qualified to be conducting the work and stole the job to profit the money. When I asked the owner how this could of happened, I wasn’t provided with an apology, nor was I provided with any form of compensation or help. Instead I was told that this employee no longer works there. I tried to call and sent emails to no response. The angry ‘employee’ who completed the work turned up at my property at 21.30pm saying that he would go up onto the roof to take a look. This was not requested and was quite threatening behaviour. He was really wound up and said that I had contacted his former boss and was trying to take him to court. As you can imagine, I was not best pleased. I tried to contact the Edinburgh Roofing Company and received no apology, only told that he no longer works there and I should contact him directly - despite my contact being via his company email address which is no longer valid. I strongly recommend you do not consult this company as they have caused me nothing but problems. My roof is now leaking far worse than it was before, it has caused internal damage and I am now paying 2-3 times the price to have it fixed. I have received no help or support from them despite this happening under their name. Whatever the circumstances, it is not my fault and I am a victim in this situation. My address is now known to a disgruntled employee who has a habit of turning up out of the blue. Please save your money and go to a more reputable company who has a better process for customer care.
