EL Beso, is my favorite go to spot for food and drinks. Not only is this a great restaurant with amazing food, the staff makes me feel like family every time I enter the door. GREATNESS starts from the top down and their leadership is second to NONE! Thank you Charese and Sergio for training your staff to deliver service excellence one customer at a time. Not only have gained a loyal customer, you have gained a family member.
Today I ordered the steak fajitas. The meat was over cooked and there was barely any meat for $24 meal. It really was bland and had really no taste to it other than peppers. Big change from a few years ago. Update: I tried them again on the house with a guest. I was greeted by Charisse the General Manager, and sat at my seat. My drink order was taken and the food order shortly after by the waitress Ericka. I ordered the steak fajitas again hoping for a better out come this time. While waiting for my food someone from the kitchen came out and apologized for the past ordered and said they would make it right this time. Mine and my guests food arrived and my steak fajitas were sizzling with an abundant of juicy flavors. It was cooked just right tender and not over done this time. 10 thumbs up the the wait staff the cooks the GM and even the people cleaning the tables. I am happy to say I’ll be back and encourage others to try this spot out!
I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now and finally did with my daughters. The staff were amazing, super nice and our waiter was great! Everything from the salsa and chips to the tacos & burritos to the rice and beans was amazing! I can’t wait to come again to try out more food!
We were just finishing up as the mariachi band was starting, they were so good, too! SUCH a familiar reminder of a true Mexican restaurant. An atmosphere after my own heart. The chips were homemade and fresh, the salsa was on point. We ordered the birria tacos, they had tons of meat on them and were delicious. I loved that they came with rice and beans, a must have side when dining Mexican style. Dafne was our server and she was friendly, pleasant, and attentive. I personally thought the overall prices were higher than I like, BUT ... you get what you pay for, so we left satisfied customers and would return if we are in the area. ESPECIALLY at dinner time to enjoy the band!
Love El Beso!! My friends and I go there regularly. Both locations have outdoor seating, though the Layton El Beso has a giant beautiful waterfall with Ko Fish swimming around. The food is always fabulous but the margaritas are outstanding! I'm crazy for the Wild Berry Margarita but all of them are top notch. Servers are always kind and fast. There's not a thing I can say that's bad, except, perhaps a dimmer light in the bar area would be appreciated. ♡
