My son was tutored by two tutors in Eleven Plus Tutors in Manchester. Both of the tutors were very helpful during the time we prepared our son to sit for the 11+ entrance exam. In the earlier days we had Ayesha to do online tuition for my son. Ayesha is such a great tutor that she taught my son patiently with a lot of math knowledge that was missed out in school, taught him a lot of maths skills that are effective and accurate to solve problems. She assigned a lot of homework for my son to complete between lessons so to ensure my son could work on every task correctly. Nearer to the exam, we changed to an in person tutor Nafeesa, she was just perfect! She was well prepared for every tuition that well organised the time for teaching my son maths/vr/nvr/English accordingly. Assigned a lot of homeworks between lessons and go through the next lessons. She’ll summarise and explain to me after every lessons which part my son did well and what parts he needed to reinforce on. This process kept me and my son had a clear direction that what we needed to focus on. I’ll say my son was so lucky to have Nafeesa as his tutor before the entrance exam, my son excelled in the 11+ entrance exam and he has admitted to AGSB. I’m so grateful for the two tutors introduced by Chris of Eleven Plus Tutors. And the mock exams they arranged before the actual entrance exam that’s very helpful indeed. My son was tutored by Christopher for eight months prior to the eleven plus exam. He was able to consolidate his knowledge in both maths and English, and fill in any gaps in his learning needed for this exam. Christopher also helped with strategies for verbal and nonverbal reasoning. Hari attended the exam preparation sessions, mock exams and some of the essay writing workshops. I can’t recommend Christopher highly enough. Hari was offered a place at his first choice Grammar school and was offered an academic scholarship at his first choice independent school. My younger son, with a very different learning method is now being tutored by Christopher and is thriving in his lessons.
