We started classes with Geralyn when we got our puppy, and it’s one of the best decisions we’ve made! Geralyn’s passion for dogs and her support for families is clear. She’s taught us so much and is always willing to answer any questions about our pup’s well-being. Through class, we joined a community of dog-lovers, and our social pup made friends who all understand the same force-free training. We frequently meet other dogs from Elite Canine classes in our neighborhood and local parks, and I always recommend Geralyn to new people. We’ve enjoyed group, semi-private, and private sessions—and our dog loves being off-leash at Yappy Hour!

Over the past few months my newly adopted chihuahua mix, Betsy, has graduated from Elite Canine’s “Puppy Stars” and “Take The Lead” series of classes. Geralyn has been great with helping me and Betsy learn the ropes. She recommended up front that Betsy start with the Puppy class because of her small size and her shyness. That was definitely the right call! Geralyn has been top notch, enthusiastic, patient and caring. Would highly recommend her classes. She also offers to her clients Saturday morning Yappy Hour at Tuckers Tap yard which has tremendously helped Betsy come out of her shell.

Geralyn is awesome at not just training my dog, but helping me understand my role in the process. It is not a effective if I don't put the work in! my two pups that were rescued out of a Puppy Mill are so much better for attending her group classes and play outings. Training should never stop. Working with Elite Canine was the best thing we ever did for our puppy! Geralyn trains people to train their dogs. She is kind, but is also realistic and doesn’t mince words. To get the most value out of her classes you have to take what she tells you home and work with your dog! Doing what she says will transform your relationship with your dog and make living with them one of the best experiences of your life. Our dogs are only with us for part of our lives, but we are their best friend for their whole life and Geralyn really helps you foster that relationship :)
