Engineered Heating & Air was exceptional among the three companies I considered - all highly rated, both by customers and BBB A+ listing - for repair or replacement when my furnace died on the coldest day of the year in December 2025. It was apparent that both Chase, service representative, and Cody, the lead service technician, were more knowledgeable than their counterparts who also came to diagnose my problem and assess options going forward. I felt I was better equipped to make the best decision for my situation after their very thorough reviews of both my heating and cooling systems, the first past its life expectancy, the other at or near it. They also went above and beyond loaning me portable heaters prior to install of the new HVAC - which they were able to schedule for only two days later - and offered the best financing terms (18 months same as cash) of the three companies I consulted. And all good since. I highly recommend Engineered Hearing & Air for anyone needing HVAC repair, replacement, or maintenance in the Lexington/Central Kentucky area. Daveena Sexton
What a fabulous company! Engineered Heating and Air is a fantastic company and Matt is a fantastic technician. I did not think I would be able to improve on the past company I had that maintained my Carrier Infinity system, but I have. Finding a company to trust with quality technicians is so hard to do now. Very happy customer.
Just use Engineered Heating and Air for the first time to service my Water furnace Geo Thermal system. I wish I had use them a long time ago. My service tech Caleb was professional, knowledgeable, informative, and just a good person. My system was checked , serviced and a problem with my system not connecting to the internet was solved. This company will now take care of all of my Geo Thermal system maintenance. Plus they are affordable and i did sign up for their maintenance plan which was a great price. I will use them again and i do recommend this company.
I had a complete system installed. It was a pleasant experience from the start. Chase explained my options and discussed with me what would be best for my situation. Once that was done, Bryden and Wyatt did a great job with the installation. They were professional and took the time to answer my questions and get the job done in a timely manner. My experience with Engineered was great!
Love my new HVAC system installed by Engineered Hearing and Air. Scope of work included remove existing AC unit and evaporator coil in the crawl space and install a new Carrier 2.5 ton GA5-30 AC outdoor unit w/ CVAMA evaporator coil and tie into/reuse existing gas furnace. Also included a Honeywell FocusPro digital thermostat, new pad and electrical disconnect box for the outdoor unit, and an SS2 safety switch for the drain lines that shuts unit off if drain line backs up to prevent more water from going into the crawlspace. In addition, Chris Boyd and his crew removed all existing ductwork from the crawlspace and replace with all new including new metal supply plenum, return plenum and metal trunk lines, insulated on the outside for optimal airflow, sized for the first floor system. They installed new flexible supply runs and removed and replaced the registers, collars and boots. Chris and his crew did a thorough job supported by a team of senior supervisors and sales rep David Borne. Thank you David, Chris, and the rest of your team for my new HVAC system and peace of mind knowing it will last for years to come.
