I received my EQ3 Cello Plush sofa in April 2021. Now, 4 years and 8 months later, I am forced to attempt a DIY repair on a "premium" piece of furniture just to make it usable again. There are two major issues: 1. Massive Material Failure: The down-proof ticking (the inner fabric shell) has completely failed. As you can see in the photos, feathers migrate through the fabric in droves. I opened a single cushion to investigate and found a massive pile of feathers pouring out. It creates a constant mess in my home. 2. Comfort: EQ3 markets this as having a "relaxed" look. In reality, "relaxed" means uncomfortable and sloppy. It offers very little support. Despite the clear defect in the casing materials, EQ3 has refused to honor the warranty. I am now stuck fixing this expensive sofa myself because the manufacturer won't stand behind their product. If you are looking for a high-end sofa, look elsewhere. This has been a regretful purchase from start to finish.
Very disappointed. I ordered a Palliser sofa 16 weeks ago and have had no communication from EQ3 since. I called to follow up 4 weeks ago and was told my sofa was in quality control and the delivery company would be in touch soon to schedule the delivery. Then radio silence. I tried calling a few times while the store was open but no one answers the phone. Only in-store employees can provide an update since I bought it in-store, apparently. I was told 8-12 weeks when I purchased the sofa, and to not be surprised if it was less.
recently purchased accent chairs from the Eq3 Ottawa location and noticed a cut in the upholstery of one of the chairs, even though they are brand new and haven't been used. Despite the warranty promises, the customer service department has outright denied that we were sold a damaged chair. The service is disappointing, especially considering the high cost of the chairs.customer service is not going to help.
I had a positive experience purchasing two couches from EQ3, but that was over three months ago. The estimated delivery window has long passed—by three to ten weeks—and when I followed up, I was told there are "production delays" with no clear completion date. Had I known the delay would be this extensive, I would have chosen a different Canadian retailer.
What an amazing service!! Nate offered such a nice customer service and was always ready to help! Nate was so helpful and kind! The furniture is such great quality and it looks so chic and beautiful! I definitely recommend this store!! Thank you again!!
