I recently visited Escape Room Zone in Farmington on a Friday night, and I have to say, I was very disappointed by the customer service. The female manager working that evening was extremely unprofessional and gave the impression that she didn’t want to be bothered or have anyone participating in the escape rooms at all. When my girlfriend and I walked in, she barely acknowledged us—no greeting, no smile, and certainly no effort to make us feel welcome. Instead, she seemed irritated that we were there. What made it worse was that she was actually on FaceTime on her phone when we arrived, which is completely unacceptable behavior for someone representing a business. This experience was especially frustrating for me because I actually worked at Escape Room Zone back in 2016. Back then, the operation was run much smoother, and customer service was a top priority. The staff took pride in creating a fun, friendly, and engaging atmosphere for every guest. Unfortunately, that level of professionalism and enthusiasm seems to have declined significantly. I strongly suggest that management re-evaluate how the Farmington location is being run and provide proper training on customer service etiquette, professionalism, and respect for customers. The way guests are treated directly affects the reputation of the business. I’m confident that if the owner of Escape Room Zone and the owner of Zap Zone were aware of how this location is currently being managed in their absence, they would be very displeased. I truly hope things improve, because this used to be a fantastic place that I was proud to recommend—but based on my most recent visit, that’s no longer the case.
My wife and I came here ready to smash some stress — and wow, what a release! British (our rage room coordinator) was incredible, the music setup was perfect, and writing messages on the items before destroying them made it even better. Highly recommend — 10/10 cathartic chaos!
We had the best time at escape room zone with the splatter paint activity! The whole setup was creative, colorful, and full of energy. Everything was well organized and clean. Yazz and her staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They explained everything clearly, gave us great tips, and made sure we got plenty of time to paint, laugh, and take pictures. The service really stood out — everyone was friendly, patient, and made the experience even more enjoyable. We left with big smiles (and a few splashes of paint!) plus our own canvases to take home. Definitely recommend this for families, date nights, or a fun group outing. We’ll be back for sure!
We had an amazing time celebrating our daughter birthday at Escape Room Zone in Farmington! The private room was the perfect add-on for our birthday squad. We rented three escape rooms for the party, including one for adults, and everyone enjoyed themselves. Since they are attached to Zap Zone, we were able to grab arcade cards too, which kept the fun going even longer. The food was excellent and more than enough for our whole party. The staff helped us unload when we arrived and checked on us throughout to make sure everything was running smoothly. Amazing time, amazing location. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend for parties or just a fun outing.
