We had a blast doing Murder Manor . The perfect balance of challenge but also possible to keep moving forward. We were a group of 4, two adults and 2 older teens. Before going to be honest I was doubtful about the quality of the room since it is in a converted house. I was wrong everything was dialed in and very immersive. Mathias our host was fun and helpful. This was much better than those other corporate ones in the strip malls .
2 of us did malice manor and had such a blast. Our host Mythius was awesome!!! Funny, believable, kinda cheeky and always in-character. The experience was so smart, and appropriately creepy (coming from someone that doesn’t love horror, but my partner ghost hunter loves horror and he loved the creep-level too) Really interesting storyline and fun clues. We loved it. Definitely going to do another one with escapism!! Thanks so much, Mythius!!!
Amazing escape room experience! My partner and I did Malice Manor which was equally fun and scary! If you like the adrenaline of horror and solving mysteries, this is the place to be! Kitt was an exceptional host! We can’t wait to go back and try other rooms
It was a bit tricky to find the location in the dark. It looks like a house, not a business. Once inside, our group thoroughly enjoyed the Funky Lab escape room! It was just the right amount of challenge. All the puzzles were thematic and logically made sense. There were even some Easter eggs for those of us who remember their Dr. Z's Lab from years ago. I highly recommend this escape experience! Just make sure you look at the map ahead of time and know where you're going.
For his birthday, our 12 year old handpicked the Funky Laboratory room out of all the escape rooms in Portland, mostly for the cat theme!! It did not disappoint! Mythius was a great host & gave helpful hints. We escaped with 35 seconds to spare! A fun family time! Totally recommend!
