Visited for the second time this weekend with some friends from out of town. The show was hilarious and the actors were amazing. Joaquin at the bar took great care of us and gave us recommendations for things to do after. Awesome performances all around

Whenever someone asks me where to go for a true “Austin” experience, I recommend the Follies. They never fail to put on a good show and represent the best of what this city is supposed to be: creative, witty, bold and fun. The service is excellent and shout out to our bartender Joaquin who made our night really special with great service, jokes, and thoughtful recommendations on where to explore after the show. Esther’s is truly a gem in this city thanks to the talented and authentic people who work there!!

"Like Vegas Had a Weird Baby with SNL... and It’s Hilarious!" If you only see one show in Austin, make it Esther’s Follies. If you see two, see this one twice — because you'll probably miss half the jokes the first time from laughing so hard. From political satire to magic that made me question both physics and my childhood trauma (thanks, Uncle Dave and the disappearing quarter trick), this show has everything. Singing, dancing, stand-up, sketch comedy, illusions — and at least one person in sequins per square foot. The cast has more energy than a toddler on Red Bull. How they remember all those lines, moves, and sleight-of-hand tricks without combusting is beyond me. Honestly, I left feeling like I needed a nap just from watching. Special shoutout to the glass windows behind the stage that show confused 6th Street pedestrians in real-time — it’s like a surprise bonus act starring drunk people trying to figure out if they’re part of the show. (They are.) Esther’s Follies is a chaotic, glittery, gloriously unhinged fever dream — and I loved every second of it. 10/10 would sell a kidney to go again.

Esther's Follies is iconic. A really whacky good time, full of irreverent comedy. Very much a vaudeville style troupe of amazingly talented cast and crew, who are having as much fun as the audience. It really makes the experience next level. See magic, music, mystery, and maybe a shenanigan or three! Definitely book a ticket and have a blast.

The show was amazing! Super funny and topical. Venue was fun and creative. The seating, bar and restroom are all easy to get to even if the place is full. It's connected in the back with a patio to the next door taqueria if you want a quick bite before or after the show. And, the next door comedy show is included in the Esther's Follies ticket
