The last time I had a layover here in Kansas City, I walked by this store and was so enamored by everything I saw through the windows!! Unfortunately, store was closed because I got there a little later. I saw merchandise from Sweden and Scandinavia that you cannot find anywhere else but those countries. Specifically the Moomintrolls. My daughter grew up with these stories, so when I saw them through the window I knew I had to come back! I was able to have a layover tonight and made it there before they closed! I can't tell you how amazing this store is! Natalie, the owner, was very kind and helpful. I enjoyed our conversation very much! I can't wait till I can come back again. Seriously, what a unique store. You can not find these things unless you actually go to these countries! 🥰
Showed up, first time in the store. Nobody greeted us when we walked. Hardly anyone in the store, we were looking at Alice and wonderland knock off version nutcrackers that btw were EXPENSIVE for not being legit Disney. And there’s no signs that say don’t touch. Immediately after I go to reach for something this lady comes up and says WHATRE YOU DOING?? all angry like. And we said we was tryna see the nutcrackers. She told us to ask so we did. SHE DIDNT PULL THE NUT CRACKER DOWN FOR US TO SEE BUT SAID THANKS FOR ASKING. Nah nah just because you’re “European” doesn’t mean anything learn to talk to your customers with respect. ALSO when someone asks to see something and wants to know the price of something LEARN YOUR STORE PRICES AND LET THEM SEE What they wanted to see.
Had a lovely experience at European Accents today! I wanted to buy one of everything! As a professional traveler, the shop took me right back to the many gift shops I’ve seen only this time I made a friend! :) The owner was very kind and I enjoyed our conversation a lot. With so much going on in the world, her kindness meant a lot to me.
Possibly one of my favorite stores! Never been treated with anything less than kindness in this store! They always have my favorite perfume in stock that I can’t find anywhere else and the pajamas they held for me knowing how much I love Alice in wonderland are the BEST pajamas I’ll ever own! The owner, Natalie is the SWEETEST and most welcoming woman and Beth the sales associate always lets me know when knew things come in and I come running! You’re missing out if you don’t pop in here and see all the worldly things they have!
What a fantastic store. The owner is so kind. Found all the Moomin stuff! I stopped in a few times during my visit finding new things each visit. Thank you for being so lovely!
