My older brother recommended me to Michael after getting several pieces done with him over the last half a decade or so, and I couldn't regret it if I tried. Michael is a seriously talented artist, and you can tell he really cares about his work and the details he puts into every piece. Everything about the process feels professional and comfortable, and the quality of work speaks for itself. Clean lines, great execution, and a solid overall experience. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for an artist that knows what they're doing. 10/10, on all my brother's tattoos as well.
My family has worked with Michael Wayman many times, and we are always pleased with his results. He takes pride in his craft, delivering tattoos that are not only top-notch but true works of art. Michael is kind, professional, and highly skilled. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an experienced and knowledgeable tattoo artist.
Jay has done a majority of my ink and he is amazing,light handed, knows how to care for your skin during tattoo session, knows the art background of tattooing from best places with good skin or being able to tattoo with any type of skin condition or any condition you may have he is very experienced and very talented with tattooing skin to doing art on canvases. He is very talented in line work, shading, blending, coverups and etc. When you call or go in for ink work make sure to choose your tattoo artist wisely and carefully as this type art is typically permanent and the art you choose to place on your body unless you pay to remove. Check out Jay's work and if you choose him, you chose a top notch artist! My fish below is a cover up, my Pablo he did with my dogs ashes in the ink, btw!
I’ve been getting ink from Michael Wayman for about 5 years, and he’s been a blessing of an artist. I can always rely on him to bring my pictures and ideas to life, and always better than I could’ve expected. I’ve gotten about 20 pieces done with him, and I have yet to not love one. A great guy, phenomenal conversationalist, and reliable artist. Would give a 6th star if it was possible. Few of his pieces for me included here!
My girlfriend and I planned a trip from NM to AZ so she could get tattooed by Michael Wayman. Everything seemed great at first — he responded quickly, took the deposit, and set the date. Then right before the appointment, he stopped responding completely. We called, texted, DMed — no answer. It’s really disappointing to see artists do this when people plan and pay ahead. Definitely not trustworthy. He then responded and promised to give the money back and then went silent again. He stole over 300$ from us.
