Misleading description and poor customer service. I am extremely disappointed with my experience with F. Hinds. I purchased an engagement ring advertised and sold as 9ct yellow gold. After only occasional wear, the colour began to fade. When I raised this, staff were initially unable to explain why a yellow gold ring would change colour and attributed it to wear and tear. Only months later was it disclosed that the ring actually contains white gold, something that was never explained at the point of sale, despite me clearly stating I was looking for a yellow gold ring. Had this been disclosed, I would not have purchased it. The issue was dismissed as wear and tear, the ring was “repaired” without my consent, and a refund was refused, despite the product not matching how it was advertised or described. This experience has been stressful and very disappointing for something that should have been special. I would strongly advise customers check any changes on materials.
The personal was great with us, very kind and professional and the products are verry beautifull, verry good quality and the promotions are super nice. İ know where to buy watches and jewlerry from now on.
The attendants were friendly, and he informed me about an attractive ongoing promotion. I appreciate the after-sales service for the necklace we purchased. However, I did not like the earring stoppers we bought.
I came to the shop to see if my quartz pocket-watch needed a new battery. The young lady tested it and replaced the battery with a new one; all done very quickly. Great service!
I have two citizen's watches, both on free lifetime battery replacement. It astonishes me each time a battery dies (one every two or three years) that I manage to find the paperwork and that Hinds continue to honour their promise. This year the staff on duty could not get the back off one of my watches, but we made a straighforward arrangement for me to leave the watch with them 'because we've got one girl who's very good at getting the backs off, and she's not in for another week'. If and when it's done they will phone me to pick it up. Thank you
