We spent 2.5 hours here and it was honestly one of the worst restaurant experiences we’ve had in Anchorage. When we got there, only five people were ahead of us, but we still stood on our feet in line for an hour while half the restaurant had empty tables. By the time we were finally seated, we were starving. It then took 20 minutes just to get water and another 7 minutes before we could even order. We ordered the cheese stuffed bread ($12), jalapeño poppers ($11), Caesar salad ($10), clam chowder, chicken Alfredo ($26), and the halibut almond crust pasta ($38). The Caesar salad was very basic. The jalapeño poppers were just okay. The clam chowder wasnt good. The cheesy garlic bread was the only thing we liked. The chicken Alfredo was the blandest pasta I’ve ever had. Chicken looked boiled. Olive Garden would have been way better than this. We also weren’t allowed to order a side of marinara for the bread because the kitchen was “too busy”. The halibut pasta had a very sweet, strange flavor and my husband knew he didn’t like it after one bite. When he asked to have it taken off the bill, the waitress questioned why he took a bite… which felt awkward and dumb. You have to taste something to know if you like it. We were polite about everything, but the communication from our server felt off. Overall, the food was terrible for how expensive it was, the service was extremely slow, and the whole experience was frustrating. We definitely would not come back. Left us hungry and like we waisted our one date night after a long hard week of work. We’re pissed and wish we wouldve paid $0.

Omg!! Where have you guys been all my life!!! I’m gonna say this is by far the best Italian food I’ve ever had. I got the Chicken Marsala and my wife got the Eggplant Parm!! Not only was the food absolutely mind blowing good. The staff was phenomenal. Literally all of them came and talked to me, but are waitress was Mirsada and she was about as good as a waitress could possibly be in my eyes and then some. These guys are amazing in every way!!! Check them out, you won’t be disappointed!!!

My girlfriend and I were so excited to try this restaurant out. We had been hearing so many great things about it. We were extremely disappointed by the food. The sauce is not very flavorful and pasta overcooked. My Veal was very tough as well and the breading basically turned to mush. The bottoms of our plates had a literal pool of oil in them. It was quite off putting. Also they really need a hostess as it seemed like the waitresses were the ones to greet customers. Seemed a little hectic. Took us a little while to get seated even though there were quite a few tables open, they were not busy. Service was fine I guess. Best thing I can say is the atmosphere is awesome and the bar is absolutely incredible. Other than that though, there will be no reason for us to return. Honestly just go to Olive Garden if you want better Italian food.

First time in Alaska and a friend suggested this restaurant we started off with an espresso martini and mozzarella loaf , which was delicious and I had the eggplant pasta. The pasta was a little overdone, but the dish was delicious. My husband had the veal and the sauce was a little too lemony for him and we had tiramisu cake for dessert and it was delicious. Service was great atmosphere was great and I guess we lucked out because we were told there’s usually a line to get in so I give this restaurant 7/10. I do recommend this restaurant if you’re wanting to have a good Italian dish with some good drinks and I think we’ll try the pizza next time because it looked phenomenal.
