Blown away by First Financial Mortgage. Will be my go-to mortgage lender going forward. I worked specifically with Cameron Horton and HIGHLY recommend him. My experience with Cameron was amazing. This was my first mortgage loan with Cameron and he will be my go-to loan officer for all of my real estate purchases going forward, as well as my sole recommendation for anyone who is in the market. He assisted in every step of the process: easily setting up my profile, acquiring pre-approval, promptly talking with me multiple times regarding market conditions / interest rate fluctuations / optimal closing timing, searching around for the best rate for me, scheduling appraisals, coordinating with title / insurance, helping navigate the underwriting process, setting up escrow, etc. We were able to close quickly to meet my agreed upon closing date with the home builder and overall, it was an enjoyable process. There are many items that sets Cameron apart from other. One is his unmatched, personal level of customer service and accessibility. Cameron and I would text, email, etc. and within a matter of minutes, we were on a call chatting through whatever was going on. I could shoot him a text on how the market was looking like on an given day and he would crunch the numbers and give me a response shortly after. We would even brainstorm together on various options that best met my needs for both rental properties, as well as personal single family units. I have bought homes in the past with the big banks and you do not get even remotely close to this level of customer service. Another trait that sets Cameron apart is his level of proactiveness. He seems to always one-step ahead: he directly coordinates with my real estate agent, my insurance agent, etc. to help me through the process. He would even proactively reach out to me to discuss pre-approval, current market conditions relative to my closing timeline, closing disclosure forms to ensure I understood every number before signing, etc. I always knew I was in good hands because of Cameron. On the personal side of things, Cameron is highly professional, very respectful, incredibly knowledgeable in his field, and was just enjoyable to work with. My real estate agent referred Cameron to me and I can easily say he is one of, if not the best referral I have received in my real estate journey. Do yourself a favor and use Cameron Horton as your Loan Officer.

Cameron and his team at First Financial were incredible. They were helpful every step of the way. I had been in talks with him about the loan process for an extended period and had several attempts that ended up not being the right fit over a year time-frame. He was always encouraging, quick to help, and had great insight. The home we closed on eventually needed a rapid turnaround on the loan, and he was clear about what we could do and put in the effort to help us get closed quicker than expected. His clear and timely responses coupled with his genuine interest and excitement for us was a big part of the process being such a positive experience.
