We used Fix806 on our rental property recently. Our previous tenant left a hole in the laundry room & we needed it fixed ASAP before the new tenants moved in. They were able to come the same day & get the work finished. My husband & I are also realtors & Fix806 has done plenty of work for our clients. Highly recommend them!
Fix806 is professional and has reasonably priced services. They affixed my dresser mirror (antique and quite heavy) quickly and were knowledgeable about the piece as well as the best way to mount it. They also mounted all my curtain rods. They're fast and the work quality is excellent.
Cy unInstalled my old light fixture and installed my new light fixture just perfect. I love it! Friendly and professional service and cleaned up after her was done. Payment done online also so easy transaction. Will call them next time for other services
Fix806 did not install a new exterior door with frame as requested. I asked the owner, Cody, if they could frame out a 30-inch pre-hung exterior door to fit an existing 28-inch frame, and he confirmed that they could. Instead, they installed a solid-core interior door on the existing unstable frame. This slab door did not align with the existing door strike and did not close properly. When I spoke with the owner, he only made excuses and defended their quote, even though they quoted installing the exterior door with an appropriate frame instead of an interior door on the existing cracked frame. The owners accused me of not wanting to pay for the service, and I tried to explain that I didn't want to pay the agreed price because it wasn't what I requested, and the door didn't latch or close properly. Although they offered a $200 discount, this is not appropriate for the work they did. I will still need to find another contractor to install a new exterior door. If they do this kind of work to a person in the business, homeowners need to be aware. I recommend that anyone be very specific and request written documentation for any scope of work done. I'm attaching screen-shots to support my claims.
