Flame & Fable est une librairie accueillante à Lakewood, située au 15207 Detroit Ave, proposant des titres allant de la romance contemporaine et romantasy aux romans LGBTQIA+, ainsi que des auteurs indépendants, des copies dédicacées et des nouveautés. Dirigée par la propriétaire Nickie, la boutique est saluée pour ses recommandations personnalisées, son atmosphère chaleureuse et des événements tels que des clubs de lecture et des séances de dédicace. My favorite local bookstore!!! Nickie is the nicest and is so helpful. The diversity in books is wonderful and all the extra trinkets are a delight. The atmosphere is great and I’m definitely looking forward to attending any events they have in the new year. Can’t recommend Flame and Fable enough!
such a fun, cozy romantasy shop!! i heard about flame & fable through my parents, looked them up on instagram and recognized books from my shelves on theirs, threw on a sweater and headed out the door! it’s very welcoming and cozy, the owner/ staff are kind, and passionate about what they do! they have a great selection of books! i saw things from contemporary romance to romantasy to dark/ erotic romance, a good selection of lgbtqia+ novels, some period pieces, even monster romances! indie authors, indie prints, special editions, signed copies, new releases, the cutest kindle accessories, bookmarks, stickers and more! i went in to get a feel of the store and i will definitely be back! i had such a great experience and loved the overall vibe of the store! i grabbed 2 of the ‘blind date with a book’ and they really did their thing with that, i recommend checking those out and if one speaks to you GRAB IT!! you will not regret it!! they know what they’re doing!
The best part about this absolute GEM of a place is the owner. Asking for a book recommendation is like having your cards read. I’m on book three of her recommendations and they’ve all been KNOCKOUTS. It’s like Nickie is a mind reader. Also they have BOOK CLUBS! And STICKERS!!!!!
Amazing stickers, tons of variety, great local author representation. Great indie writers representation. Staff was so nice. There is so something for everyone. Blind date with a book is great when you don't know what to read. Definitely has that small town bookstore feel for when you don't want to go to a big store. 1000% will be going back frequently.
Favorite bookstore in Lakewood! I can spend hours in here. SO MANY OPTIONS! The owner is very helpful in assisting customers to find the perfect book and the playlist in the shop is always 10/10. I love that they host book signings and create community here 🥰
