We went to the surf and turf tasting last night and it was fantastic! I would go every week if I could! The food was beyond amazing and the chefs did a great job explaining all the food and interacting with the guests. If you want a unique date night where you are going to have a great time and amazing food this is the place!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Culinary Experience to Remember – Flavors on Fire, Katy, TX I had the absolute pleasure of celebrating my birthday at Flavors on Fire for their Kaiseki Tasting, and it was nothing short of incredible. From start to finish, the evening was a beautifully curated experience. The ambiance was elegant yet intimate, with only about 12-15 guests, which made it feel personal and exclusive. Chefs Tim and Shannon were not only talented but also warm and hospitable — they prepared each course right in front of us, sharing insights and creating an inviting atmosphere throughout the night. This was a 9-course culinary journey, each dish paired with a perfectly matched wine. I tasted flavors and ingredients I wouldn’t typically choose off a menu — and I’m so glad I did. The standout for me? The miso-marinated black cod — absolutely 🔥! It was hands down the best dish of the night and honestly one of the best bites I've had in a long time. The vibe was elevated with great music, fun interactions between guests, and just a very thoughtful flow from beginning to end. I attended as a party of four, and we all left raving about the experience. If you’re looking for something unique, elevated, and personal, I 100% recommend attending one of their tasting events. It was the perfect way to celebrate and make lasting memories.
Flavors on Fire was an A-Mazing experience! It felt as though Tim, the owner, invited the eight of us friends to his beautiful kitchen for an exceptional cooking/dining experience. The best part, we sat, we drank, we thoroughly enjoyed watching him, Shannon and Brett prepare a fabulous meal! 10/10! We highly recommend. We enjoyed the Truffle Tasting Menu, it was fabulous, I’m looking forward to my leftovers.Grab a few good friends and experience Flavors on Fire Katy for yourself. Sorry there weren’t more food pics I dove in immediately. Our menu was scallops in a rich buttery sauce, pasta divinely filled with smoked potatoes in a delightfully creamy sauce, risotto (to die for) perfectly grilled steak and a chocolate on chocolate on chocolate something or other that was delish and I’m not even a chocolate fan! Great job Tim Shannon and Brett!
My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic evening with Chef Tim and team. Not only was the food fabulous, but the experience of sitting around the bar with other guests and watching how the meal was prepared made the evening magical for us. I was absolutely in love with those fantastic scallops and truffle ravioli and the wine parings were perfection. I highly recommend this experience when you’re looking for something special and unique. I can’t wait to go again to sample other menus. Thanks Tim and staff for the great time.
We went to Flavors on Fire for my brother-in-law's wedding dinner. The atmosphere was wonderful. Perfect for an intimate family occasion. Tim was a fantastic host and chef. He prepared corn gazpacho, crab cake (and he made a salmon cake for me since I don't eat shellfish), filet, elote corn, mac n cheese, and a lava cake. The 'hands on' part was we broke out in couples to prepare our own tartar sauce for the crab/salmon cakes. He had a little station set up with all of the ingredients we would need. Tim and his team sampled all of them to determine their favorite. This was a fun little competition (which my mother-in-law won). All of the food and the experience were extraordinary. I could not recommend this place highly enough. I would absolutely love to return for other events or cooking classes.
