2nd time me and my boyfriend come to Fogo de Chão at San Jose and again the experience was fantastic! The hostess was a gorgeous blond girl who was so extremely nice to us. Albert was our server and was so kind as well. So sweet. They made our anniversary so special 💝💝💝🎀 Thank you Fogo de Chão we’ll be back again
We had a very enjoyable experience at Fogo de Chão! The restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and has a great atmosphere. We had two different servers. Our first server was mean and had a condescending attitude, but a huge shoutout to our second server Justin, who was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our meal—he really saved the day. The Brazilian cheese bread and the grilled cheese with honey are must-tries! The salad bar has a massive selection. My personal favorites were the caprese, the smoked salmon, and the various cheeses. For the main course, my friends and I went with the full churrasco experience. We stuck to the lamb chops and lamb picanha; the meat was tender, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection; you can’t beat the unlimited servings! The only downsides were the fruit options. I really wish they offered grilled pineapple along with the meats. Also, the papayas at the salad bar are always bitter, and the fresh pineapples are rarely good and very slow to be refilled. That said, the other desserts are delicious and made up for it. We paid about $90-100 per person with tip. Overall, a great spot for hungry meat lovers!
Had a wonderful Brazilian steakhouse experience at Fogo de Chão. Even with a reservation, we still had to wait a bit because it gets very busy. The service was great. Our server, Julian, was friendly, attentive, and easy on the eyes✨ The meat servers came around more often than I expected, and there was a great variety of cuts, which was a big plus. The salad bar, on the other hand, felt a bit underwhelming compared to the meats. A little insider tip: buying a gift card from Costco makes the meal much more affordable. I was slightly embarrassed using it at checkout, but the staff was totally cool about it. Parking was easy at a nearby garage, and it’s a perfect spot to walk around Santana Row after a big meal.
The reservation AI kept mishearing my name and made the booking process a bit frustrating. When we arrived, there was a short wait of about 10 minutes while they set up our table, but the staff was very kind about it. Once seated, we had the churrasco experience, and the food was delicious. Each dish was delectable. Service was quick and impeccable throughout the night. After we shared our dietary restrictions, they gave us a full ingredient list, and it became a little bit of a puzzle each time a gaucho brought a dish to the table while we figured out the allergens from the list. I love puzzles, so that was actually fun! We really appreciated how careful the restaurant was with our dietary needs and the level of attention they gave us. The servers were great, even with a shift change, and everyone remembered our dietary restrictions the entire night. The Passionate Caipirinha cocktail was wonderful. The only dish that missed the mark was the bone marrow, which was too salty, but they removed it from the bill without any fuss. Overall, a great dining experience with excellent service and amazing food, even with the clunky reservation AI at the start.
We had an amazing experience at Fogo de Chão! The food was fantastic as always, but our waiter, Evan, truly made the night exceptional. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and personable. He was always checking in at the right times and making sure we had everything we needed. His great smile and positive energy made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Evan also gave excellent recommendations on drinks, food, and dessert every suggestion was spot on! It’s clear he takes real pride in his work and cares about his guests’ experience. Outstanding service, delicious food, and a great atmosphere. Huge thanks to Evan for making our night special we’ll definitely be back to request him!
