The front of house manager/host fella (we wish we got his name) was fantastic in every way. He was very attentive to all of the patrons' tables. He ensured that we were all taken care of immediately. The atmosphere was amazing! Love how intimate the restaurant is. The music selection fits with the mood. Its sooooooo great! THE MEAT IS SOOOO TENDER!!!! and seasoned so well!!! OMGosh!!!!! Dessert was tasty ( I barely got it down, I was so stuffed!!!)!!! Please go check them out. You'll be so glad you did. 😁

We celebrated my birthday and a pre-Thanksgiving dinner with my family tonight, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We enjoyed the Full Fogão Gaúcho Rodizio Experience, and everything—from the salad and sides bar to the drinks—was fantastic. Victor welcomed us right at the door and set the tone for the night. His hospitality, along with his team’s top-tier service, made the whole experience feel special. He recommended a Malbec that paired beautifully with all the meats. The star of the night was the food. Every cut of meat was seasoned exactly to my liking. I’m usually not a big ribeye fan, but theirs won me over instantly. What really impressed us was how attentive the team was to our preference for well-done meats. They made sure everything brought to our table was prepared exactly that way—yes, even the pineapple! This was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

This was our first time at Fogao Gaucho and the service was excellent. They greeted us very warmly at the door, and immediately sat us down taking their time to explain how the servings would be. Once we selected our food from the wonderful array of dishes that were so beautifully arranged, we sat down again and enjoyed the delicious food. There were at least 8 types of meat offered to us on a consistent basis. It was never ending! But we were in heaven. The “cheese bread” that they offered was fluffy and so tasty. Everything was delicious! We loved everything and recommend this restaurant to the world! 💕💕💕

I’m really glad there’s finally a rodízio-style Brazilian restaurant in Elk Grove. I’ve been to Galpão Gaucho in Roseville, which is amazing, but it’s definitely a long drive after stuffing your face. Fogão in Elk Grove really hits the spot. For $65 per person, you get a solid variety of meats—not so overwhelming that you lose track, but enough options to keep things exciting. The picanha is my personal favorite, and I love the cinnamon bananas and warm pineapple they bring to the table. I am not big on lamb but the lambchops here is pretty good. It is a bit pricier than some of the Brazilian spots in Roseville, but the convenience of being closer makes up for it. I’d definitely recommend it and will be back again. Been here twice already and haven’t been disappointed!

We came here for the first time with my boyfriend and my parents, and we all had an amazing experience. The service was exceptional, Jo took great care of us and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. The salad bar was extravagant (maybe too extravagant, my parents definitely went wild), and the full service was absolutely worth it. The meat selections were all delicious, but the leg of lamb and garlic steak were my personal favorites. One surprising standout was the cheese with honey, it paired perfectly with the creamy and refreshing Brazilian lemonade, which hit the spot in this summer heat. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
