I cannot say enough about Foothills Physical Therapy at 100 East Camelback Rd in Phoenix, Arizona. I originally came in because of all my joint and muscle problems with my rheumatoid arthritis and bilateral rotator cuff tears, with left shoulder muscle damage. The pain and stiffness had kept me from doing strenuous free weight and machine exercises and made daily chores difficult to manage. My main therapist were Mark Celaya and Abby Kimpel. The did most f the physical therapy treatment for me, and they were fantastic. Dealing with RA is tricky, but they understood exactly what was going on and created a plan that helped me improve my strength and mobility without aggravating my joints. I also got great assistance from Josh Acosta. He was wonderful to work with and really helped me through the process. The atmosphere at this location is wonderful, everyone is encouraging and kind, which makes a big difference when you are dealing with chronic pain. After working with this team, it's very much a team concept and effort. I am moving much better and able to handle my daily. tasks again. I you are struggling with RA or chronic joint and muscle pain, I highly recommend checking them out. They helped me emotionally and physically. In closing Danielle Goetti-Vergne the Clinic Director must be recognized for her organizing and managing an excellent well operating team.
Fantastic care from this highly professional team. They got me back in action less than six weeks following partial knee replacement surgery. Special shout out to Alex, Josh, Andrew and Kim. You guys rock!!
Dani is an amazing physical therapist. When I needed PT again this year for a different reason I went back to see Dani again. She is thoughtful and friendly and gives each patient focused care to help them get back to feeling better. I have also worked with Abby and Bailey and can say that everyone I have worked with there has given exceptional treatment.
Review of Foothills Physical Medicine And Physical Therapy My rehabilitation for my hip replacement is vigorous, challenging, and within my tolerance for discomfort. My progress through recovery is moving forward at a faster pace than I anticipated. I am very happy with that. I interact with the entire staff and so I know they are are all friendly and the physical therapists like Abby Kimpel and Danielle Goettl-Vergne are in my opinion are very good. The technicians Bailey and Josh are very diligent in helping me. I highly recommend Foothills Sports Medicine Physical Therapy to anyone and the Central and Camelback location in particular.
I have attended physical therapy several times throughout my life, but this is the first time I have worked with a group of therapists that truly paid attention to my body and my needs. Alex paid attention to how my body was responding to different activities and made adjustments so that I could continue exercises or discontinue them. He explained the mechanics of how my body works, why I was having the problems I did and related them to the exercises he created for me to do. He set up it that were involved in white doing exercise exercises a specific way made sense. If it was simply something my body wasn’t going to tolerate. He worked both with my shoulder and creating stability and balance as I walk and engage every day life. Alex was thorough, thoughtful, and definitely left me feeling cared for with excellent clinical knowledge and technique. Alex was intentional and creating a discharge plan for how I could continue to strengthen and care for my body outside of physical therapy. All of the technicians were very kind and helpful. I worked with Andrew for quite a while and he too was great and very helpfulIf. There was excellence with everyone from Danielle doing my initial evaluation to the complicated scheduling of two different cases. Everything was met with excellence. If i ever need physical therapy again, which is highly probable since I have psoriatic arthritis this is where I will come. I will refer anyone I know telling me they need physical therapy. I am thankful for this experience. They
