Foxtail Coffee in Midtown Atlanta is one of those easy go-to spots that just works. I ordered a café latte with oat milk, and it was smooth, well-balanced, and comforting without being heavy. My friend got the iced chai latte, and it was equally good—nicely spiced and not overly sweet. The space feels especially cozy right now with their Christmassy touches, including holiday merchandise that adds a festive vibe without being over the top. I also appreciated that they offer some gluten-free snack options, which is a thoughtful bonus. Overall, Foxtail is a reliable spot for studying or getting work done—good drinks, a comfortable atmosphere, and a calm Midtown energy that makes it easy to settle in for a while.
I really really want to love this place, but every time I try it I’m let down. I live next door so it’s walking distance. Came in the vibe was great, music was great and everything smelled amazing. I went to order and to my surprise no coffee- yes you read that right, no coffee. The cashier suggested I get a cappuccino instead but I stated I just wanted coffee- the barista said the machine wasn’t working or something I’m not sure- the cashier was super nice and appeared to be new, so I get it/ I ended up ordering a mimosa instead. This was the second time I came and wasn’t able to get coffee. Anyway with it being in midtown I was very surprised they also don’t have a non dairy creamer. I would go back, but hope in the future a non dairy creamer could be implemented. Other than that it’s nice
Pretty bummed. I went here for the first time since moving to midtown and was SHOCKED at how expensive it is. I ordered a “regular”, and after a 10% tip it was over $8. I was handed my coffee and was shocked at how light it felt. After walking home and taking the lid off to reheat it, I saw that the cup wasn’t even halfway full, and I hadn’t taken a single sip yet. I understand whipped cream takes up space, but it shouldn’t take up half the cup.
If you get the single origin espresso it normally is good espresso. But they do run out. Their house blend beans is mediocre at best. They charge extra for almond milke even on a Cortado. Better than Starbucks on average. With the right beans close to great
I stopped by and ordered a lavender fog and at first glance, everything looked good. On my way walking back to work I noticed a big black object in my drink. It freaked me out so I threw most of it away until I could actually see what it was. I believe it’s an entire tea bag but I didn’t want to touch it. I called the place and they just said “oh sometimes tea particles fall in” I was like no mam this is not just a particle. I told them I could send them the pics so they could see before even doing a review but they were like I don’t know the company email so here we are with my review and pics
