I had an outstanding experience at Frank Fat's! Walking in without a reservation on what was clearly a bustling evening, I was worried we might be turned away, but the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and gracious in accommodating us. The honey walnut shrimp was absolutely phenomenal. What really elevated the evening was the exceptional service. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, and our water and drinks were refilled seamlessly throughout the meal.
Best upscale Chinese food we have had 🥳🥳💯 portions are just right , food is so flavorful you won’t regret dining here😋 We had the Kung Pao chicken , the filet which was the Bomb 💣 and the orange chicken it was all so good oof 💯💯🥳🥳 we hit this place when we are in town
Honey walnut shrimp was DELICIOUS. Atmosphere was beautiful and the service was exceptional. I will never forget our delicious meal there.
Frank Fat’s came highly recommended and I didn’t think I’d be able to go because they are closed Monday and Tuesday but made a detour on Wednesday just for dinner here. Ngoc was an excellent server with great recommendations! I got the Yu Kwok (special beef and pork dumplings) as an appetizer, Chili Beef Chow Fun as the main course, and of course a slice of their famous banana cream pie for dessert. The manager and all the staff were great. I can see why it’s a staple in Sacramento!!
I decided to visit this place because of its many great reviews and long history. The beautiful interior and friendly service left a strong impression. I happened to be there during lunch hours and ordered from the lunch menu. The flavors weren’t exactly traditional Chinese, but more like what you’d expect from an American-style Chinese restaurant. Overall, it was an impressive place and worth a visit.
