Frank did an amazing job at an excellent price. He was able to troubleshoot and diagnose the issue in less than 20 min. I'm posting this from the very PC he worked on and its now running smooth after I took it to 3 other techs around Laredo, all of which could not give me a definite answer on what the problem was. Thanks Frank for your expertise and I'll be recommending you to everyone i come across with pc related issues.

Very bad service. My wife took our laptop in for a keyboard replacement, and Frank told us it would be ready the same day. However, a week and a half passed, and when my wife went to pick it up, he suddenly said there was a problem with the battery. He offered to replace it and said he wouldn’t charge us for labor. I figured $30 wasn’t too bad, so we agreed. Another week passed, and now he told us there was an issue with the computer—it wouldn’t turn on and had to be used without a battery, plugged into an outlet. He overexplained everything, seemed pretty nervous, and then claimed the problem was with the motherboard. He said he could order a new one and replace it. At this point, I personally went to the store. He explained everything again, but I declined and took the computer home. I have some knowledge of electronics—I’ve replaced iPhone batteries screens and computer maintenance before—so I decided to check it out. The first thing I noticed was that the motherboard was missing its protective film, which usually prevents it from making contact with metallic parts. I disassembled everything, applied some electrical tape, reassembled the laptop, and it worked perfectly. In conclusion, this guy makes a living fixing electronics, so how could he not figure out something so simple? I feel he wanted to scam me out of an extra $300, claiming it was a motherboard issue when all he needed to do was apply a protective layer. Oh, and he also replaced the power button, but it was working fine, now it’s a different one. Answer to owners reply We want to clarify that there are no complaints regarding the pricing—we paid the agreed amount, and we acknowledge that you provided the links for the parts. That is not in question. Before bringing the computer to you, I personally inspected it along with a friend who has a basic understanding of electronics. As mentioned, the protective film was missing, and we thoroughly checked the motherboard for water damage. The issue, however, was with the keyboard. While I could have repaired it myself, I lacked the necessary equipment, which is why we entrusted the repair to you. That said, I find the way this situation has been handled to be unfair.

I had an issue with my screen. The display would not show after I had dropped my laptop. I contacted the shop and setup a day and time I could drop off my computer. I had to order a replacement screen that was found online by the shop owner, Frank. After I received my replacement screen in the mail I dropped of my laptop and within a couple of hours the new screen had been installed and my computer was working like new again. I highly recommend this business if you have computer and laptop issues. I also received a 30 day warranty at no extra charge.
