This was a bad experience from start to finish. The office staff is polite and professional but their systems are not geared to customer service and they fight taking responsibility and solving problems. They want to blame the customer. After weeks of waiting for a time for chair repair and two visits of a repairman, (the last time for 2 hours), the chair was not repaired. The repairman was nice and polite but he didn't seem to know what he was doing and was trying to repair the chair with someone on Facetime and finally we gave up.
I had a great experience with Furniture and Repairs. The service was fast and high quality. They informed me about every detail in advance and confirmed the arrival time, which I really appreciated. The technician, George, was very friendly, professional, and truly knows his work. Everything was done perfectly and with great attention to detail. Based on my personal experience, this is a reliable company that is focused on quality, details, and customer satisfaction. Highly recommended!
I had two tasks for Furniture & Repairs - both of which they met extremely well. The post on a 30-40 year old Stressless recliner broke. Unable to source a new base, F&R seamlessly welded a new post on to the original one. I also requested a total reupholstery with new leather and padding. The chair now looks better than new. The other item was restrapping a Breuer chair - less challenging perhaps - but perfectly executed. The company kept me informed throughout the process and were unfailingly civil and responsive. There were cheaper options available, but I have no regrets paying the slight premium for the quality they provided. I am glad to give Furniture & Repairs my highest recommendation.
I had a credenza delivered but was too busy to inspect it. When I finally unwrapped it I found the bottom rail was damaged. After emailing a few repair companies F and R reached out the fastest. I scheduled a site visit and when Shalva arrived he said he could fix it and quote me a price on the spot. I agreed to quote and he went to work and made the damage disappear with in the hour. I was really impressed.
I recently had my furniture repaired. The team was professional, on time, and extremely skilled. They restored everything with great attention to detail — the pieces look brand new again. Communication was easy, the service was smooth, and the quality exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended! Thank you for the excellent work.
