After a couple of recommendations by neighbours I approached the Garden Construction Company with some garden issues needing addressed. Our garden has been transformed by David’s work. What was a messy space is now a sunny patio which brings the garden together. That and another couple of wee jobs which I wish we had done a long time ago! David is very polite, has great ideas and advice, and stayed on the job until it was complete despite the atrocious weather. He kept me well informed regarding the start date and progress through the job. Thanks David 😁
We are very pleased with the work David carried out on our garden. It has completely transformed our outdoor space from an unusable jungle and practically dangerous decking to a relaxed and practical outdoor space. He installed a split level composite deck and the remaining space was covered in astro with a new trellis. Everything was completed to a high standard, on time and on budget. We enjoyed having David round during the work, so easy to get on with and great company. Would highly recommend.
David and Shaun were a pleasure to have working on our garden transformation. David understood the vision I had and has delivered it to perfection with some additional added extras and finishes I would never have thought of. David kept us informed and included in the decision making throughout whilst nothing was ever too much trouble for Shaun. They arrived and left at a consistent time each day over a period of 5 weeks. We are delighted with our new patio, path, stone covered area and lawn and will definitely invite them back to do the work needed in our front garden at a later date.
Having recently moved to a house with an over-grown sloping garden and a 25-year-old hedge that was more brown than green, we needed a fair bit of work done to create a family friendly garden and new drive. David's initial visit to view the work that was needed left me confident that he was knowledgeable and professional, and he was the only one who didn't seem concerned that the job to remove the hedge was going to be too tricky! David & Shaun were great to have around for the few weeks the work took. They were both very friendly and hard working, and if they came across any issues (which I'm sure they will have done) we were never made to feel that anything was a problem. There were a few changes of plan during the work, an extra set of steps, additional flower beds etc. - and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. They worked hard through all weathers, without so much as a grumble, and always to a high standard - and with consideration for our neighbours - who got to know them well too! The work we had done included a new tegula-block drive, fencing, sloping garden levelled out and turfed, a new patio area, flower beds, steps and bin-store - so quite an extensive and varied job, every part of it done to high standard. We're extremely happy with our new drive and garden - our two young boys can't wait to have free reign on the grass, once the turf has settled in. We are also delighted in having chosen David & Shaun to do the work for us. They were a pleasure to have around, and our boys, neighbours and ourselves have been missing them! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
David a réalisé deux travaux dans notre maison récemment agrandie. Le premier travail consistait à construire une clôture, une terrasse et un abri à poubelles et le deuxième consistait à paver une allée et à créer une terrasse en pierre pavée pour remplacer une pelouse, ainsi que la construction d'un parterre de fleurs en pierre surélevé entouré d'un mur en pierre, l'installation d'un plan d'eau, la plantation d'une bordure d'arbustes et la construction d'un ensemble de marches en pierre. David et son collègue ont exécuté les travaux à un haut niveau. Il a été très utile pour conseiller sur le choix des matériaux et des plantes. Il a aussi suggéré d'utiliser des lattes de mélèze pour masquer une vieille clôture — cela a donné une finition superbe qui a été largement admirée. Je le recommande sans réserve.
