What a wonderful experience. It’s hard to find authentic places but this is one of them. Daniela was incredible and we had amazing wine , bread , chourico, tarts and port. So lucky to have found this spot only 15 minute walk from our house. We will be back many times.
I had a wonderful experience at this shop. The staff was incredibly helpful in picking out the perfect wine. I really appreciated the friendly conversation and the warm atmosphere. It made my visit so much better. Thank you!
The staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was amazing! The Portuguese tarts were phenomenal. The 4 stars is because of the steak sandwich. It could have had more flavour and some cheese and peppers would have been great. It was good but just not my favorite style of steak sandwich. I'm definitely going to go back and try other food items in the future though.
I am so happy I came across this very special wine shop! The wine selection is wonderful and truly unique, and I guarantee you will not find the bottles they carry at Garrafeira anywhere else in Toronto. William is also incredibly kind and helpful; not only does he offer fantastic recommendations, but he is also a great host (thank you for the Pastel de Nata and the Regina chocolate bar, they were delicious!). It is also worth mentioning that all the wines at Garrafeira are handpicked and offer great value. Well, if you are looking for an exceptional wine selection, cozy regional snacks, and a welcoming place to sit down and enjoy a glass of wine, this is my top recommendation.
We had such a wonderful experience at Garrefiera today! Catarina and Daniela took incredible care of us, and the owner William was so warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff make you feel right at home. We tried a selection of wines along with the butter shrimp, tuna melt, and cheese plate. everything was absolutely delicious. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy, and truly feel looked after. We’ll definitely be back soon and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming neighborhood wine shop with amazing food and hospitality.
