During my move to Kansas City area , my movers had broken one of my wooden kitchen chairs . It was a bad break . I had sent pictures via email and got a quote and was also told that the repair may not hold if a larger person was to plop down on it ( appreciated the honesty ) I chose to have it repaired and would take my chances .. Dave did the repair and you cannot tell that it had ever been broken . I had to be reminded as to which leg had been so damaged . I was super impressed .. the paint color matched perfectly . Thank you so much for the effort made to return my chair to it’s original state !
Dave did an excellent job refinishing my piano fall board. You can tell by the quality of the finished product and just by talking to Dave that he takes pride in his work. The fee he charged was reasonable given the amount of effort he put into the job. I highly recommend Dave for any furniture repair.
My wife and I used this company to repair and refinish two Henredon nightstands, as well as refinish 6 chairs. To say I am pleased is an understatement. Dave did an amazing job, and he is truly and artist. I would absolutely use him again in the future. I recommend you use Gedminas and sons if you want high quality work, but you aren't on a tight schedule. This kind of work takes time!
Dave did a phenomenal job restoring a family heirloom pew. Due to a mistake by a our insurance's contractor during a claim, our 130 year old pew was left outside in the elements for months while we were out of our home and we thought it was ruined. But Dave brought it back to life. We were thrilled with his craftsmanship and attention to detail. Highly recommend his services. Photos of the before and after are shown.
This is my go-to source for all furniture restoration. When movers broke the legs of our 150-year-old dining room table, Gedminas & Son restored it and refinished it to a thing of beauty. They have repaired antique chairs and refinished an antique side table and cupboard for me. We love antiques and want to protect and enjoy the pieces we have inherited.
