Hiring Rebecca and her team to be our wedding planners was the best decision we made for our wedding, and we couldn’t recommend them more highly! We found GetWed via an Instagram ad and booked an initial call with Rebecca. She was so lovely and so experienced and outlined the entire process of working together that made everything incredibly clear and as well as manageable and fun. We worked with Eleanor and Rebecca who were with us every step of the way, from visiting multiple venues across the country to helping us find amazing suppliers, choose the colour scheme and crucially design a day that would be the most fun for our guests and for us. They kept us on track without us ever feeling pressured, and were there to make sure everything ran smoothly on the day and we just needed to concentrate on having fun. Our wedding was the best day of our lives, and so many of our friends and family have told us that it was the best wedding they’d been to and that they felt so looked after the whole weekend. So much of that was down to Eleanor and Rebecca, their incredible vibes, impeccable organization and all around brilliance. I have had the pleasure of working with Rebecca, Helen and their team as a florist on many weddings over the years. Their approach to planning is always so thoughtful, organised and beautifully detail-driven. The atmosphere they create on a wedding day is calm, supportive and uplifting, which makes such a difference to suppliers and couples alike. I always feel able to be fully creative when working with them and the results are consistently some of my favourite designs. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Absolute professionals, a delight to work with and super efficient! Choosing GetWed as our wedding planners was a no-brainer as soon as we met Rebecca and we absolutely made the best decision. Rebecca, Eleanor, Izzie and the team were fantastic throughout the year of planning and made the whole experience a total pleasure. The focus was one hundred percent on what we as clients wanted to see, feel and experience at our wedding and our expectations were not only met but exceeded. They delivered us the day/weekend we had envisioned and our guests were blown away! We must give a special shout out to Eleanor who we dealt with day to day - nothing was too much trouble, follow-up items were dealt with within minutes and she was proactive and gently nudging whenever needed! Plus a total pleasure work with and chat to! On the day, their calming personalities and ability to take away any stress and worry was a godsend. They managed logistics, elderly parents, delayed cars, the weather (!) and no doubt a myriad of details that we didn't see, and they even popped champagne corks at the back of the church while we signed the register! I will miss working with them and talking to them on a regular basis, they have come to feel like friends. The BEST decision we made! My partner and I live outside of the UK and admittedly aren’t the most organised or decisive people. We were so relieved after our first call with Eleanor - she seemed to really understand what we wanted out of our wedding and also wanted to help us stay stress-free throughout the process. Venue search - Not being able to visit venues in person, Eleanor sent us videos from 4 different venues that we finalised. She left us to decipher and make a decision ourselves but always provided guidance to ensure what we chose aligned with our wedding goals. Food tasting/MUA - Eleanor organised a food tasting at our venue, cake tasting boxes, makeup and hair trial and meeting with herself expertly within one week so that we could use our annual leave to tick all of those things off. The big day - our wedding day was better than we had pictured- with Eleanor and Ella helping on the day! Eleanor helped us to make the best possible decisions to ensure the day exceeded our expectations. We have had numerous compliments about our venue, food, DJ, photographer and florals since. My friends commented that I was “the most chill bride” which is simply because any weight was taken off of my shoulders by the GetWed team and I knew I didn’t have anything to worry about. We cannot thank Eleanor enough for all her help and support to create our dream wedding!!
