Fabulous wine, don’t let the location discourage you. Once you park and walk in you are greeted by a friendly smile who will walk you through their menu of delicious wines. After a few quick tastings you will be matched with a wine that suits your desires and off you go. This low brow location is perfect for an after work bottle of wine, a ‘on vacation pour’, or a glass of award winning goodness. Take it from a person passing through, this place has delectable wines with an interesting backstory.
This place is great! The wine is ridiculously good and the staff are super personable and down to earth. Everyone I’ve run into there or started up conversation with have been very friendly. It’s a great positive vibe from the wine down. The owner gave me a tour and explained the whole process impromptu when I asked about some of the chemistry details. It was really fun to nerd out and put that O-chem class to use. He genuinely enjoyed showing me and explaining the process. The wine is amazing and place just feels comfortable, relaxed, welcoming… I lack the writing skills to give an accurate description but it’s truly enjoyable. I highly recommend giving them a try.
This place is amazing! We found it while visiting San Diego today and we cannot wait to come back! We got to meet Keith the owner and he and his team are just fantastic! Thank you for a lovely afternoon!
What a hidden little gem! We will definitely be back. Had some wines and grapes we have never heard of before. They have quite a generous fedora/wine club.
I was wandering through OB looking for a mellow spot to chill. I was meeting folks later that night and needed to kill time. This seemed the perfect spot as it had enough room and I got to sample wines. Winning in my book. You can order a flight sampler or get a glass. The fedoras on the wall behind the counter were left behind by guests when they have/had fedora Thursdays.
