Gigi really knows her stuff! She hemmed my bridesmaid dress perfectly in a very timely manner and was very welcoming and agreable. I was able to feel very confident in my dress and got lots of compliments! I absolutely recommend her services!
If you’re thinking twice about taking your dress to Gigi, don’t!! She absolutely did an amazing job with my Sophia Tolli dress. I ordered my dress 2 sizes bigger because I thought I would gain weight during the planning process. I didn’t gain weight, and needed my very intricately designed dress altered to fit. Gigi paid attention to every little detail, and the dress turned out perfect. I live in a northern community so I barely made it to Montreal, but she was so flexible about scheduling fittings. I highly recommend!
I bought a wedding dress second-hand and was lucky to find Gigi well before my wedding date! She gets busy fast so I felt lucky to have her as my seamstress. Gigi truly specializes in wedding dresses and did an incredible job making a good amount of modifications to my dress including the bustle, removing skirt bulk, hemming, adjustments and lace details. Despite all these changes, my dress fit great and was easy to carry around to various locations including the beach, forest and many stairs! She also had very reasonable pricing and a great turnaround time, and was a lot of fun to chat with throughout the process. Thank you Gigi!
Gigi was able to alter my vintage wedding dress from a size 6 to a size 2, and it fit like an absolute dream and looked perfect! Her attention to detail and incredible talent truly brought the dress to life. I recently got my wedding photos back, and I’m still blown away by how amazing the dress looked. Everyone complimented it! I couldn’t be more grateful for Gigi’s work. Highly recommend her for any bridal alterations!!!
GIGI, GIGI, GIGI, WHERE CAN I START 🩷 I gained weight due to health problems before my wedding & it was a really stressful time for me. I knew my dress would have to be altered, in a short amount of time as well. I brought my dress to Gigi and her amazing coworker. First of all they did not shame me for gaining weight, they got straight to work on solutions to make my dress fit. Second of all I had an extremely long train that I wanted removed but would also affect the look of my dress if not done right. Gigi saved my dress, and made me even like it more. She fixed the closure to make it close, and hemmed my skirt just enough to still give me a small train. The bonus: she calls your mom for you because she knows you want your moms opinion, she gave advice on how to tape your dress & body to make it look good on you & took pictures of me at my final fitting. I could not have gone to anyone else, with as much skill as Gigi and her coworker. I have many many many friends whom have been recently married, and for the insane amount of work she had for my dress with a tight time line, her price was excellent. Save yourself the trouble of looking elsewhere on google & just go see Gigi.
