Travelled from Alberta, Canada to experience the city and sports. Stopped in for some real Chicago deep dish pizza. No part of the meal disappointed, our server was Antionette, she was very welcoming and personable. Very lovely to talk to and offered must see places locally. The pizza was super filling and so darn good. The amount of cheese was incredible, this is where you go when you want a lot of cheese stuffing in a deep dish pizza.

I’m not sure I understand the hype around this place. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated and another 45 minutes for the deep dish pizza we ordered ,exactly as they said it would take. The pizza tasted good overall, but the crust wasn’t my favorite since I prefer a more buttery crust. The interior and atmosphere are cool, and they also have an outdoor section, however it’s closed during the winter. If you’re planning to visit, I’d recommend setting aside at least two hours because there will be a lot of waiting involved.

Our family went here after a recommendation. It was a great recommendation. The food was perfect, service was great, and atmosphere was perfect. To our surprise, the wait was not long for how busy it was. I will say, I need to replicate the Greek salad dressing recipe. It was delicious.

I was visiting from out of town, and several people recommended that I try Giordano’s for authentic Chicago deep dish pizza and it did not disappoint! I ordered a small stuffed double meat deep dish, and it was absolutely delicious. The pizza did take about 45 minutes to make. The crust was buttery and crisp, the cheese perfectly gooey, and every bite was packed with flavor. The small size was more than enough to share for two people. The deep dish pizza here is everything you’d hope for rich, hearty, and full of that true Chicago flavor. You can tell it’s made with quality ingredients and baked to perfection. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and happy throughout our meal. The pizza came out hot and fresh, just as it should. The restaurant had a warm, welcoming vibe casual yet lively, perfect for visitors or locals alike. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel right at home while experiencing one of Chicago’s best food traditions. Overall, Giordano’s absolutely lives up to its reputation. If you’re visiting Chicago, this is one stop you don’t want to miss!

TL;DR: Not as special as social media hype suggests. You’re really not missing out if you skip this place. I'm not saying the food was bad. It's just not special. I’d heard so many great things about Giordano’s and decided to check it out since I only had one night in town. We ordered the deep-dish pizza and chicken wings. Honestly, I didn’t find anything particularly special about the deep dish. To be fair, I got the smallest 6” personal size, so maybe that affected the experience—but I doubt the taste would be drastically different. I went with chicken sausage, which was fine, but again, nothing to write about. The wings were good, crispy and flavorful, but still pretty standard. We tried the sweet chili flavor, which was nice, but overall, the meal just didn’t live up to the hype.
