Fiancé's Review: I couldn't have chosen a better location to buy a ring for my fiancée. The business is family run and they very much give the impression of honesty. The sales lady I worked with did not try to upsell me at all and was very intentional to lay out as many cost effective options as possible. They truly care about what they do and about their customers. I really cannot recommend this place enough. Fiancée's Review: My fiancé (then boyfriend) came to this ring store a little while before he proposed to me. We absolutely loved how it’s a family business and well they treat their customers. We were very impressed at the service and the ring is just absolutely stunning. He proposed a few days ago on the beach so it was a beautiful moment with a beautiful ring. We didn’t have much experience in engagement rings but this place walked us through it and was perfect! Absolutely gorgeous ring and would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
Final update (see last paragraph for original posting): Just picked this ring back up along with its matching wedding band! As per their recommendation I brought the set in the be welded! Turned out lovely and I’m so happy! The staff was so sweet and had some more interesting stories to tell! You don’t find the kind of sincerity they offer very often anymore these days and it’s always a treat going in. So glad my now husband found and chose them for our rings! We’ll d efinitely be returning for future projects! Added new pictures of the final set!!! Original/First Visit: Visited today with my fiancée to pick out an engagement ring and wedding band. We went in not knowing anything about the in and outs of picking a diamond/band, however, when we left we were much more comfortable with the knowledge they provided us. Jenna was wonderful and very educational. She went above and beyond to help us choose the best fit for us within our budget. Her husband was also helped add the cherry on top with the perfect setting arrangement! The process for the mens band was a lot shorter but still educational! Can’t wait for the rings to come in after their sizing. Updating my review to include the photos! I was surprised that it was ready so quickly.
My husband gave me a black pearl engagement ring with a sweet story about how at the age of eight or nine, he acquired the pearl on an outing to the Japanese Cultural Gardens in San Francisco. His grandmother had the pearl set in a white gold setting and gave it to his mom for safe keeping until he was ready to propose. After several years of wear, the pearl began to shed its outer layer. I took my mother's wedding set, a beautiful sapphire and diamond ring from my husband, and a new black pearl we got a few years ago at a pearl store when opening an oyster to Lucinda at Gold n Carats and asked if they could make me a new ring using the diamonds and pearl. The result was stunning and more than I could have hoped for! They knew my style and my love for unusual coupled with traditional. They took care of me and gave me back beautiful memories and hope for a bright future, all wrapped in loving care for me and my husband of 43 years! Thank you isn't enough. They are very friendly and made sure the rings my wife and I wanted were perfect to us. We first came here for an engagement ring, and they walked us through every detail without using confusing words or deceptive contracts. They were patient with our pickiness and still went above and beyond our expectations. We picked out our own diamonds and viewed them through a loop so we knew how to identify them. They personally kept me up to date with pictures through the whole process of welding the additional crowns, setting the extra diamonds, and when it would be available for pick up. As the time approached, we made a no-brainer to come back for the wedding rings. The process was just as smooth and even through COVID, they sent us updates on the rings to make sure we still received them with plenty of time before our wedding. Their policies make resizing and polishing so easy and they bent over backwards for us. I can't thank them enough for everything they've done for us.
