I’ve been coming to Golondrinas & Nido since they first opened in 2019-2020, and it was once a fantastic place with a great vibe. Over the years, though, it’s really gone downhill. The tables are broken, floors need a good power wash, the gravel areas need to be replenished and are full of dirt and cigarette butts, it’s obvious that the place isn’t maintained like it used to be. One of the biggest issues for me is how parents let their kids run wild. We brought our dogs, including a larger dog who got startled when kids ran right up to him. The dog stood up on his hind legs out of surprise, and while nothing happened, it could have been avoided if parents actually watched their children. This isn’t a playground, and it’s not safe or fair to the dogs or other guests. And when kids pull people’s hats off and parents don’t intervene, it just shows a lack of care from both the management and the clientele they’re now attracting. Add to that the fact that about two years ago, there was a shooting in the parking lot involving undertrained security, and it’s clear that the place has really lost its charm and safety. Sadly, it’s no longer the gem it used to be, and I can’t recommend it anymore. Below a photo of a broken bench with a fully exposed rusty nail.

Best place to get specialty cocktails in Laredo. Very friendly staff, and awesome atmosphere. Have a drink and go for a walk after if you'd like with great walking trails right behind the bar!

Loved this place, it's not so big as other food truck parks I've been to, but this one is really cool, before 11:00pm kids are allowed, but at late night it feels like a party for grown ups, there was a DJ, and the place counts with a couple of spots where you can get alcoholic beverages. The last food truck to close is the one selling corns so you can get something to eat while drinking. The coktails were very good

C'est un endroit agréable. Les food trucks ont fière allure. La zone offre des tables et des jeux pour divertir vos petits. Il y a un bar qui est joli à regarder. Cet endroit donne accès à une piste de jogging à l'arrière. La raison pour laquelle je donne 3 étoiles est que je n'ai jamais vu des gut trucks qui facturent des prix de restaurant haut de gamme. 4 petits tacos pour 9 à 10 dollars. Les boissons sont définitivement trop chères. Une canette de Coke à 2,16 dollars, c'est quoi ça ! Pour conclure, si vous voulez l'essayer, allez-y, mais je ne pense pas que ce soit un endroit à visiter régulièrement, à moins que votre revenu annuel ne dépasse cent mille dollars.
