Had a great experience here! Staff and workers are so kind and accommodating. Got my car all fixed up at not a ridiculous cost. Had to replace all my belts unfortunately (and driving a 96 means I have 3), but they had all the parts and got it done super quick! No more squealy car! Getting to use their vehicle for the day was also such a convenience. Thank you jack (if you see this) for referring me and being so kind!:) Thank you Good News Auto! Will for sure be back!
An honest mechanic shop for your vehicle needs. It's hard to find places that aren't trying to steal money out of your wallet and this place will actually give you proper service. Loaner cars are very nice when your own vehicle is in the shop being repaired. All people I encountered were very pleasant and took the time to patiently explain all problems my vehicle had and what the solutions and cost would be for repair. Very good place to take your vehicle
If every mechanic operated like the team at Good News Auto, the world would have far fewer stressed-out drivers. I’ve been bringing my car here for years, and they’ve never let me down. Chris Ferland and his crew are the definition of integrity in auto repair. They’re polite, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable—and they treat every customer with genuine respect, including those of us living with disabilities. They take time to explain what’s wrong, what needs fixing, and what can wait, without ever talking down to you or pushing unnecessary work. My car’s an aging lemon that’s seen more shop time than I’d like to admit. But whether it’s tire changes, exhaust and muffler repairs, brakes, shocks, hood latches, A/C work, or engine service, they handle each job with skill and a smile. They make the process feel human—something rare in the auto world. One thing that truly stands out is their assistance program for low-income customers. That’s not just good business; that’s heart. They understand that life happens, and they help people stay safely on the road when money’s tight. If you want honest work, fair pricing, and mechanics who actually care, Good News Auto is the place to go. Chris and his team have earned my full trust—and five solid stars.
A Heartfelt Thank You to Good News Auto and Driven to Renew I want to take a moment to thank the incredible team at Good News Auto for their kindness, honesty, and the care they put into everything they do. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with genuine respect and compassion — not just as a customer, but as someone they truly wanted to help. Through the Driven to Renew Foundation, I was given the opportunity to receive support when I needed it most. This amazing program helps families facing unexpected and urgent repairs — not just for vehicles, but also for home and essential needs. It’s not a handout, it’s a hand up — helping people get back on their feet while learning valuable financial and car care skills for the future. What makes this even more special is that the people at Good News Auto are the ones who made it happen. They’re the heart and hands behind the work — using their time, talent, and dedication to make sure each repair is done with integrity and care. From Kelsey, the who greeted myself and my son at the front counter and to Chris Ferland, with the vision and big heart and Christopher, mechanic, who took great care with my car and explained everything. Being chosen as the first person for this program was an incredible honor, and I’m beyond grateful for the way everyone at Good News Auto went above and beyond to help me. They’re proof that good people still exist and that community can change lives. What they all helped to build together at Good News Auto is much more than a repair shop. You turned compassion into action. What an amazing team. If you’re looking for a mechanic shop with heart, honesty, and a true mission to give back, I can’t recommend Good News Auto and the Driven to Renew Foundation enough.
