They take Furniture donations. Happy to help support the community. If looking to get rid of a mattress google Bye Bye mattress though. Thanks
The store is good has a little bit of everything. I was looking for some demin jeans and was impressed with the high price of the most commercial brand. The store was clean and organized the staff was good, no complaints except those prices for the jeans. The parking is very narrow in some areas. I'll continue to come because there's always something good and affordable at goodwill.
I will never donate here again. I have taken thousands of dollars worth of donations to this place over the years. Today, I took several hundred of dollars of dishes/plates/knife block etc in a nice plastic tub so that nothing broke. I asked the guy for my tub back and was happy to help unload it and he just dumps it out from like 5 feet and everything broke and glass was everywhere. What a waste!! I was speechless. Why would I donate if you are going to destroy my stuff?!?
A decent location of you want to treasure hunt. Just a little bit small and with limited parking it isn't ideal. I've found many items here as well as paid it forward with donations. Staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable. With color coded tags there are also additional discounts depending on what day of the week it is. I haven't been here in quite some time but I do pass by it when visiting Liberty Station. I might eventually drop in again.
So, since when has charity been too good to accept hardwood furniture? I understand not accepting mattresses, CRT TVs but hardwood furniture for minor wear? The arrogance is about as detached from reality as our cities with the homeless encamped outside these establishments. Instead of taking perfectly good furniture they relegate it to eventual landfill if people aren’t willing to wait and list on Craigslist with the hope that someone will take it. Pathetic. I will never patron Goodwill with this mentality.
