Gracie Barra Broadbeach est une académie de Jiu-Jitsu brésilien de premier plan située à Carrara, QLD, réputée pour son ambiance chaleureuse, familiale et pour son enseignement expert sous la direction du professeur João Ruffo. I had a short but awesome time at GB Broadbeach! The whole team was amazing—super friendly and always pushing you to improve. The coaches really cared about your well-being and were always giving helpful feedback. Big shoutout to Professor João Ruffo it was so cool to train with such a great coach and even better person. Totally recommend this crew!
Since joining in November of 2024 it has been a roller coaster of emotions never thought I’d end up doing a martial art as it was way way out of my comfort zone as I’ve always been a bigger guy a bit clumsy, But Professor Ruffo and every one else at the gym has made me feel welcome since day one the environment that has been created makes me feel like I’m with my family,
I can't say enough good things about Gracie Barra Broadbeach! From the moment I joined, I felt like part of a family. One of the standout aspects of Gracie Barra Broadbeach, for me, is the incredible female group. The women here are dedicated to supporting each other, both on and off the mats. There’s a true sense of love and support, and it's empowering to be surrounded by strong, like-minded individuals who help each other grow, celebrate each other’s successes, and encourage one another through challenges and hard training. It’s inspiring to see how the group continues to thrive and push each other to be better every day. Training under Professor Joao Ruffo at Gracie Barra Broadbeach has been life changing for me, It has helped me in every way with life outside the gym. The people I have met at GB Broadbeach are the best people I have met in my life and have now become my closest friends. I couldn’t recommend joining GB Broadbeach enough, you will be welcomed with open arms and it will be a positive impact on your life.
These guys are the best at what they do. I’ve found a family, a brotherhood. Every training session is a new discovery! There is not one day that I think: “I’m not going today”. If I could, I would come everyday! Every graduated student and professor João RUFFO do their very best to teach us in a way I’ve never seen before!
