Gracie Barra Vancouver est une installation de jiu-jitsu brésilien et de Muay Thai de premier plan, située sur Main St à Vancouver. Le club est salué pour son environnement sûr, propre et à l'esprit familial, avec deux zones de tatami et des programmes pour adultes et enfants, y compris un programme pour enfants particulièrement remarquable. I have been part of the Gracie Barra organization for more than 10 years, on and off, and my wife 3 years, both having had the pleasure of training at various Gracie Barra schools in and around Vancouver during our respective timelines, including the Vancouver Main St. location. This location was my first Gracie Barra school and experience as a white belt student training under then owner/Professor, Rodrigo. When entering, there is an impressive wall acknowledging all the students who have been awarded and earned their black belts. The main St. location is large with two separate mat training areas and the school facilitates both BJJ and Muay Thai classes for beginner and advanced students. I believe they also offer female classes. The facility provides a safe, clean, and the typical Gracie Barra family-like environment for both adults and children. The children’s curriculum is exceptional and a leader among the Gracie schools in my opinion.

Gracie Barra Vancouver is one of the best Brazilian jiu-jitsu school in the Lower Mainland. My son has been attending GB Vancouver for almost 3 years now and he's essentially apart of the GB Vancouver family. He loves the instructors, support staff and the classes. During the school year, he partakes in the after-school program and it's amazing. The team picks him up from school and takes him to the gym. He practices BJJ for an hour and they take him to my home. During the BJJ session, I would receive multiple updates (messages, photos and videos) through an app, Brightwheel, so I know exactly what he's up to. Aside from the after-school program, he attends 2-3x a week for additional practices. With his abundance of energy, GB Vancouver helps him focus and direct it so he's controlled, patient and disciplined. I am glad to have found Gracie Barra Vancouver and we will continue to attend the gym for the foreseeable future. If you're interested, they do provide free trials so give it go! You won't regret it!
Amazing gym!!! We have been coming to GB Vancouver since late 2022. Our son absolutely loves his friends and coaches. All the coaches are amazing, I honestly can't speak highly enough of them. Amazing mentors for my little man. Even the older kids who are junior coaches, are such an amazing influence on our 4 year old. He truly looks up to them. We also participate in the after-school program, which is literally the best thing ever. In world where there is so much negativity, GB is a ray of sunshine and a safe space for my son, and that is priceless. I am so thankful for the GB Vancouver Team.
