I worked with Julia from Great Day Events for my proposal to my finacée, and she absolutely killed it! I didn't originally plan on doing any decorations for the proposal, but because we had nearly no snow for the outdoor location we reached out with less than a week to go for help getting a beautiful backdrop. It was important to me that I had a scenic/decorated proposal, and I was worried that it would feel too dull without anything to elevate the location. Julia was able to get everything perfect! I gave a couple inspiration photos and we had a 30 minute call to discuss and plan. We also met on-location the day before, to go over final thoughts and get the specific spot figured out. The day of, I brought my fiancée to the location and surprised her with the decorations—Julia had already been there for 1-2 hours setting up the decorations so everything looked perfect. The candles, string lights, and rose petals made it everything I hoped for. And nearly just as awesome is that Julia handled all the clean-up as well :) Would definitely recommend for helping out with proposal decorations!

Julia and the Great Day Events team went above and beyond for my wedding day! I am so grateful I decided to go with them for my wedding planning. I got married at the Charleston Event Center in White Bear Lake and I am from California, so planning out of state was truly the most stressful decision I have made, but with the help of Julia and Sydney, the wedding of my dreams came to life! From the communication to the venue decorating, Great Day Events was the biggest help! I am forever thankful for everything they did for me! I highly recommend booking with Great Day Events!
Working with Great Day Events was the best decision we could have made for our wedding day! I was originally hesitant about needing to hire a day-of coordinator, but my wife was insistent that it would take a lot of stress off both of us as well as our families who we were relying upon to help with set-up and tear-down. I can say she was absolutely right (as a husband, I need to get used to saying that). Julia was very organized and thought of every little detail we could imagine. My wife and I were quite organized so I thought we could do it all alone, but having that designated person to coordinate all vendors, lead the rehearsal, and handle any emergencies allowed us to have ease of mind that we could not have had otherwise.
