Bri is truly a miracle worker! I came in with hair that desperately needed some love and transformation, and she completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked into her salon, I felt comfortable. The space is not only spotless and professional but also warm, welcoming, and so stylishly put together. Before she started, Bri took the time to sit down with me and do a thorough consultation. She really listened to what I wanted, asked thoughtful questions, and made sure she fully understood my vision. That level of care instantly put me at ease. When it came time to actually work on my hair, Bri’s skill and attention to detail blew me away. She matched my inspiration photo perfectly, and honestly, I think she made my hair look even better than what I had imagined. On top of her incredible talent, Bri is just such a kind, genuine person. She makes the whole experience feel personal and enjoyable; you don’t feel like just another appointment in her chair. It’s clear she’s passionate about what she does, and it shows in her work. This was hands down the best salon experience I’ve ever had, and I can’t recommend Bri enough. If you’re looking for someone who will not only transform your hair but also make you feel completely cared for in the process, she’s the one!
As a fellow hair artist , I have a hard time finding someone that aligns with my goals and vision , along with clean beauty, hair products. Her salon is absolutely stunning, great experience with small personal touches I loved, feeling like a client for once was so nice and knowing I trust her with whatever she does I knew I was in great hands. Can’t wait to go back !
I recently moved to downtown SD and spent MONTHS researching and reviewing hair people (including asking everyone I ran into). It's almost funny how much time I spent researching it, because I didn't research a new eye doctor this hard!! Brianna (Bri) was fantastic from the start - we texted a number of times before my appointment. Part of it was for my comfort level, but also I wanted to make sure that she was prepared for what she was getting into. :) I'd been blue for 8-9 years and was ready to make the change to purple, but wasn't quite comfortable enough to have her use bleach or a color stripper just yet. She was kind and helpful and I was pleased she also uses the same product that my old gal used! My visit was excellent. The salon is clean and very pretty, and well lit. The hair is all mine (also part of my concern when initially contacting her because the website almost made me think she only does extensions), it's long and fine. Adding insult to injury, I was getting over a cold when I went to visit her. She handled me and my hair like a champ. She was friendly and talkative when I felt like it (which I really didn't, as talking made me cough). She asked questions about what hairbrush I used, questions about what my old gal did, and was great about listening and asking follow up questions. I haven't had a chance to wash it for the first time, yet, but it's a product that I'm familiar with so I'm not worried about caring for it. I will return, and next time I'll be comfortable enough to ask her to bleach my roots. I highly suggest Bri and the Green+Anchor Salon!
Excellent and professionally run salon !! I love the Balboa Park adjacent Banker’s Hill location of Green and Anchor yet this is just for my personal preference. It’s close to my house and I like the area. I continue come here because the salon is always impeccably run. It’s superlatively luxurious and the products used are curated for both sustainability and quality. The owner Bri, cares about her clients and operates with absolute trustworthiness and integrity. You will always leave her salon feeling glamorous and well cared for. It’s always my favorite day when I have an appointment here !!
I’ve been going to Green and Anchor for quite some time now. Emily is awesome! I have really thin hair due to hair loss and she always manages to make me feel so much better. She is super good at color and extensions which is what I get. Whenever I leave the salon, I feel like 1 million bucks! Highly recommend! Everyone there is super talented.
