Greenbriar Driving Academy met and exceeded my expectations. So kind and considerate, knowledgeable and patient. I had put off driving since I didn’t really need it in DC and NYC, but as lovely as Winston Salem is there is no really good “mass transit” for many of us. The instructors - especially Tim - were great, explaining and demonstrating when I didn’t understand the concepts. I have a much greater respect for seasoned drivers now. Got my license after my first attempt!

I also appreciated that they use different instructors, which keeps the experience from feeling monotonous and gives students a well-rounded perspective. Nathan truly goes above and beyond—he even teaches practical skills like how to change a flat tire and check the car’s fluids, which is invaluable for new drivers. The in-car driving sessions were scheduled in a very timely manner, and the instructor provided excellent, practical driving tips that built confidence behind the wheel.
