Greensboro Performing Arts est un théâtre et un lieu d’événements chaleureux dédiés aux arts du spectacle, situé à Summerfield, en Caroline du Nord. Célèbre pour enrichir la vie des enfants par une énergie positive, GPA propose des programmes de danse, d’art dramatique, de chant et de théâtre musical. Suzanne’s knowledge about a dancers body and correct form is mind blowing. My granddaughter broke her tibia (not at GPA:) and when she had the cast removed was terrified of taking a step. Her advice built the confidence needed to walk again ! Gpa is such a great place!
We can't thank you enough for all you have poured into our Lena. When we joined in February we had no idea what a treasure we had found. The love and joy and positive energy in this place is like nothing I have ever seen. These kids are so beautiful from the inside out and you have done a remarkable job instilling in them all the wonderful qualities that build genuinely good people. They truly make the world a brighter place! GPA, we absolutely love you!!! Thank you for giving our girl a dance home. You have no idea how much you fill our cup each week, and the impact you have made on the Carter house. We can't wait for summer classes!
Greensboro Performing Arts commitment to enriching our children's lives has brought unparalleled delight to us, and I'm thrilled to see this exceptional growth in my child/ren through this extraordinary opportunity. My child/ren have participated in acting, voice, dance, and musical theatre productions over the last three years at GPA. For my son, specifically, what started out as a need to fill some downtime became a journey into a world of performing arts that quickly became a part of his identity in the most supportive and encouraging environment. GPA is beacon of positivity, enthusiasm, and elevation to the performing arts community. I have so much gratitude for the transformative influence Greensboro Performing Arts has had on my child/ren. A true asset to our community.
My daughter started dance classes at age 3 with GPA and she is now 15. GPA not only focuses on teaching dance technique... today my daughter went for a physical therapy appointment at her doctor's office. The therapist was amazed at how she knew the names of so many bones and muscles in the feet and legs. He then went on to show her some stretches that she already knew so well how to do. He was impressed with the knowledge she had learned from her dance studio. This was a testament to GPA!!! When my daughter was ready to start pointe classes, Mrs. Suzanne said to us, "I'm not only focused on the now, I want to see our dancers physically well after they graduate, move on, and come back to visit." Thank you to all of the fabulous teachers at GPA that have been an inspirational part of my daughter's life! And most of all, thank you for caring about her!!!
My daughter started dancing with GPA a few years ago. They quickly became a second family to us. Through all of the ups and downs my family has been going through, GPA has always been there with smiles on their faces and genuine care in their hearts for us. We are not just a number, we are not just revenue for a business, we are family.
