Where do I begin? When my now husband and I first got engaged, our first priority was finding a wedding photographer who's experienced, knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. That's exactly what we got when we booked Grey Loft Studio. Bethany and Luc were an absolute pleasure to work with! Our engagement shoot was the first time my husband and I ever got professional photos taken. We were both nervous about looking uncomfortable and feeling awkward. This was the first time we met Bethany, and she made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera. She talked us through the whole process, and our photos turned out beautiful!! The turnaround time was also super fast. Our wedding day was nothing short of perfect, all thanks to Bethany and Luc. Working with them was like working with your friends. They made my husband and I feel comfortable all day, and they were reassuring when mishaps occurred. The whole day was so much fun! Both of our families loved Bethany and Luc too! Again, the turnaround time was impressive. Everyone was shocked at how quickly we got our sneak peak gallery. If you're looking for a wedding photographer, book Grey Loft Studio. Although this review is extremely belated, it simply must be shared with the world. If you are even considering booking Grey Loft Studio, don’t give it a second thought — anything else will pale in comparison to this absolute dream duo! Soon after getting engaged in 2023, my husband and I began our search for a bright, airy photographer and videographer to capture our July 2024 wedding. We decided to give Grey Loft a whirl — and thank goodness we did. We met Bethany for the first time in October 2023 for our engagement session in downtown Ottawa, and within minutes, we knew we had made the best decision possible. Bethany has this magical, effortless way of making you feel confident, comfortable, and like you’ve been friends for years. That same warmth and magic multiplied tenfold on our wedding day when both Bethany and Luc were waiting for us at our venue. The second I walked through the doors and saw them, my nerves melted away — I can’t even explain this sorcery! Throughout the day, they were a solid 11/10 — capturing every beautiful, heartfelt, and raw moment without anything ever feeling forced or awkward. Their energy, enthusiasm, and ability to hype you up make you feel like absolute superstars. Bethany and Luc truly felt like close friends sharing in our celebration, and we were blown away by the final photos and video — timeless treasures that we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives. They even surprised us with a sneak peek the night before we left for our honeymoon! Fast forward to May 2025 — there wasn’t a single moment of hesitation when it came to booking Bethany again to capture our newborn and family photos after welcoming our little man into the world. Once again, everything was flawless. Bethany worked her magic, this time with our two-week-old baby, who peacefully slept through the entire shoot as she captured the most precious moments imaginable. Every time we look back at our photos and videos, we’re reminded not only of the day itself, but of the incredible people behind the lens who made it all feel so effortless and full of fun.

Bethany and Luc were truly incredible. From the moment they arrived, they brought such a calming and professional presence. It honestly felt like having friends around who just happened to be insanely talented at capturing every moment. Bethany was so organized, warm, and fun to be around. She gave just the right amount of direction when needed but also let the natural moments unfold beautifully. And Luc was equally lovely, they made such a great team and worked seamlessly together all day. The photos were stunning, exactly what we wanted — romantic, soft, and full of emotion. They somehow caught all the little glances, the quiet moments, and the big joyful ones too. We were honestly blown away by how thoughtful and artistic every shot was. They truly went above and beyond to make us feel at ease and taken care of, and I couldn’t imagine our wedding day without them. Absolutely phenomenal team at Grey Loft Studio. Photographer Bethany was super easy to work with. She was professional, organized, detailed-oriented and super encouraging the entire time. Her photos are also pristinely edited with a light and bright tone. Videographer Luc was also fantastic. He was super fun to work with as well as professional. His videos are not only artistic but also do a wonderful job capturing the emotions and energy of the wedding day. My husband and I have never been professionally photographed or videoed in our lives, and we are far from models! However, both Bethany and Luc always made us feel calm, confident and most importantly, beautiful. We would definitely reach out to them again should we look for professional photos and video in the future.
