This was our first visit, and it definitely will not be our last. I ordered the pork chops with Brussels sprouts, which were incredibly flavorful and a must try. My Wife enjoyed the ribeye steak with lobster tail, potato, and green beans, and he loved every bite. The drinks were fun, even if one was a bit sweet for my taste. The calm atmosphere and genuinely friendly staff made the whole experience even better.
The service here is always top tier and the atmosphere is a cozy place. Love the Cobb Salad and the Crispy Fried Shrimp with the sauce is Scrumptious. Try a warm, Million-dollar Coffee… you will order a second one!
The shrimp and grits were rich and flavorful, and the beef short ribs were tender and perfectly cooked. Our server made the experience even better with friendly and attentive service, and the food arrived quickly despite a busy night. The crème brûlée was not quite perfect for me, but everything else was excellent and made for a memorable meal.
We were so excited to try the Grille on Main based on all the good things we have heard about it. Unfortunately the service for us was not good at all. The server came around maybe 10 minutes after we sat down and it took an additional 10 minutes to get our drinks. The food itself took almost an hour to come out and wasn’t even hot when it did. My husband got the crème brulle french toast which was good but weird since it wasn’t brulle(d) which is the point of creme brulle. I got the steak and eggs, the eggs were cold and over cooked (very rubbery) the steak and sauce however was cooked good and was very tasty. Unfortunately we will not be coming back due to the poor service for what you pay.
Great place and delicious food. I had the Shrimp and Grits and it was excellent. I will say that I was surprised that the shrimp was still "tail on" but wasn't a big deal. My wife had the halibut and it was fantastic. Note: I had just spent 7 weeks in Alaska for work and ate a lot of halibut while up there. I was skeptical of how the size and taste of halibut here would be. I was very pleasantly surprised by the size of the chunk of halibut they served and the taste was as good as any I ate in Alaska. Top if off with some great service from Lionel. Highly recommend this place.
