Had a birthday dinner from my brother in law. The Ceasar, the lobster bisque and the bread was really good. Everyone enjoyed all their Italian dishes. The meatballs were a crowd favorite. The mixed beverages were made to my taste. The showered us with a table of delicious desserts.
I travel to Italy about twice a month so I like finding a place that reminds me of my travels. The dipping sauce they use for bread and the garlic bread was incredibly delicious. I also enjoyed the Cesar salad and gnocchi. Everything was molto bene. 🇮🇹
Grotto is a great Italian restaurant. It has a cozy vibe with beautiful design and decor, lighting. Service is impeccable- our waiter was welcoming, attentive and friendly. The food was flavorful. They have a wonderful menu which included a lunch option and also a Business Lunch which included an appetizer, entree and a dessert. Wow! The chef (s) have pride in their preparation of the foods they present to their customers. This was our first visit and I assure you it won’t be our last,
I have been dining at Grotto since the early 2000 and happy to see that the food and service has been consistently excellent. I don't find much change since the early days and love some of the dishes I have been enjoying for years. An extra bonus is that many of the servers have been there for 15, 20 and 35 years. It's consistently good food it's great professional service and hospitality.
Grotto offers a vibrant and upscale Italian dining experience with a warm, rustic vibe. The pasta is fresh and flavorful—especially the pasta with pesto sauce with shrimp and calamari. Chicken Milanese was also pretty good. The wood-fired pizzas are also a hit. Service is attentive, and the atmosphere feels lively yet intimate, perfect for both date nights and group dinners. A reliable choice for classic Italian dinner right in the heart of the city.
