having a mixed pattern curl, I always looked for a barber who understood my hair texture, but Sara knew what to do. I've always looked for creative input from a stylist but they always shied away and just cut as I told them, she modified the cut that I had proposed and ended up loving it, she is a natural.
Finn was phenomenal! A true artist. I couldn’t be happier, it’s exactly the cut I wanted. The staff was amazing and definitely felt like an all inclusive space. Highly recommend!
Hairrari is a really wonderful place that cares deeply about the community! I am a case worker that supports young LGBTQ+ folks experiencing housing insecurity and it can be very hard to find places that willingly provide haircuts to those who are experiencing extreme financial difficulty. They offer low or no cost haircuts to trans youth within a certain age, which is so incredibly important for young people who are in need of gender affirming care during such a critical time of self-development. Sara, the manager, has been nothing but gentle, understanding, and kind in the process of connecting some of my clients to Hairrari's services. I recently brought a client who has fairly curly hair and was recommended we book with Alissa. First of all, Alissa is *so* cool. Second of all, Alissa really knew how to work with my client's hair and my client had the biggest smile on her face the entire time! She made sure to ask what my client was looking for, checked on my client throughout the experience, and gave my client tips on how to take care of her hair. I previously referred a client to Hairrari to receive services that unfortunately led to an unfavorable outcome due to miscommunication. Despite this, Sara was completely open to further collaborating and finding a way for this individual to still receive a free service despite their feelings toward the establishment. Even further, Sara is still fully committed to supporting our trans youth and ensured that despite any negative experiences, the salon still wants to provide awesome hair care services for the community! Thank you Sara and the rest of the team at Hairrari for what y'all do!
I recently checked out this place, was impressed right away by the design and the vibe. I was greeted right away with a choice of a cold drink. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted but Sara took the lead, asked if I would trust her and I'm glad I did. Didn't know my hair could look so good tbh. Also she was so friendly and easy to talk to. So I recommend this place if you wanna find the best version of your hair, and maybe a little truth about yourself while you're at it. I’ll be back for sure.
Just had an amazing haircut with Sara - she gave me a versatile new cut I can style several ways and adapt easily as it grows out. Appreciated her listening skills and attention to detail. I got just what I wanted and I didn’t even know exactly what I wanted! Already looking forward to my next visit
