For book lovers a treasure chest! Very well organized, very helpful friendly staff, and also board games, video games, puzzles and some new released popular books available. The downside: you always buy more than you attended to. ;)
Very cool store with super polite and helpful staff with a great selection of books, but it would really help to have more transparency ahead of time on how much cash they offer when you sell them items. I was offered $26.09 for 131 books. Even acknowledging that my items were used and varied in quality, $26.09 seems very low. Somewhat disappointing. Come here to buy and enjoy the space, as it really is a lovely store! But consider going somewhere else to sell.
Well organized and clean! Employees were very helpful. My 4 star is only because the website was a bit confusing - I was sad to find that the two books I was looking to get weren't at that location. Maybe it would help to have a spot when looking at the actual book online to see what HPB location has that book. Good prices! I was nervous about the stickers on the books I did buy but they all peeled off very easily and didn't leave any residue.
Helpful and friendly staff. Wide variety of items to chose from, can always find something here. They don't use stickers that damage the products which is nice. They won't price match anyone, even themselves. Selling stuff is quick and easy though don't expect much for your items, yes they have to make money but 20¢ on something they put on the shelf for $20 because it's out of print is a little low, wasn't expecting much but shocked by that low.
I went to the store in search of some German books. I found three that I really liked. They had a selection of around 50 books in German. Two of them were unique that I have never seen on Amazon. So it is worth going there to find interesting books, not just in German but in any subject or area of interest. I will revisit the store every few months from now on.
